It is almost impossible to take a bad pic of someone (or something) you love. Nice looking pooch and I like the fact that the dog is what you see. background not noticeable.

What language would we speak now if not for those who gave it all for our beautiful country ? Those soldiers buried beneath those stones, and many more throughout the world, are my heros. When I pass a military cemetary, my eyes seem to leak. I guess I am getting old.

When this was built, the word "code" was probably not in our language. I have seen many free standing fireplaces where the house burned down (or fell down) and that was all that was left.

I am not impressed at all with HDR. It makes plants look like plastic. It makes everything else look like someone took an old objects and painted parts of it with some icky bright colored paint. Natural is more pleasing to me. (My opinion only)

Spring is almost here in NE Nevada. Only got about 16" of snow today. Wife said why don't you take some pics. Sure, everyone wants to see an all white screen. At one point there was about 200' of visibility.

Some people need some Acme Skin Thickner.

I live in NE Nevada. Long ways to Goldfield and I've never been there. I love "old iron and wood" and there is a lot of it in Nevada. (we do have things to see other than casinos and brothels)

I live in NE Nevada at 5800' elevation. The snow is almost gone. The days are into the low 50's and mother nature is sly and surprising. I expect I will need to plow snow at least one more time before the "real" spring comes along.

The only way to join sheet metal round ducting is to make one piece slightly smaller than the next piece. The crip does exactly that. The thing on top is a mechanism to make it ratchet and not back up. No I am not a "tin knocker", I am a retired electrician but I have worked alongside them for almost 50 years.
