I have a Manfrotto carbon fibre monopod that is very sturdy and very light weight. I bought mine at B&H.

There you go! Wanting to take us back to the fifties again! Just thought I'd beat DSD to it! Seriously, pray for peace but if you are attacked pray that you win!

If we'd stop re-writing history we could learn a lot from it.

I believe we should be praying for peace in Israel but if the Muslims won't have it then we need to go after them with all we have in an effort to win, not control but to win, you know like we did way back in WWII.

Yeah probably the ones you've been reading, there's many agnostic historians that wrote about the Crusades and it's nothing like as you're telling it

If he's counting the number of detainees he's sent home then maybe the story is correct.

I've already explained why you don't know much about the history of the Crusades cuz you have no idea what happened and the reasoning for the Crusades you make it sound like they're just murders thugs just trying to take over the world and that's not true maybe you need to learn more about it before you speak about it.

It really doesn't matter Rac, if history isn't recorded as they believe it should be they'll just re-write it to suit their purpose.

Fundamentalists of ANY religion are dangerous to the freedom and well-being of all.

I think radicals can be dangerous however their are many fundamentalists who present no danger to anyone. I'd cite those know as "Friends" most Amish and Mennonites are fundamentalists and just ask to be left alone.

Close, "should be reflected in the actions of believers".

Christianity isn't about what people do it's about what Christ did.
[b]

Religion is nothing more than disparate beliefs based on the diaspora of beliefs that were spawned from Christianity. If Christianity had it right in the first place there would be no need for the diaspora.
Is this some kind of test James? This makes no sense. First, religion has been around far longer than Christianity or Judaism either one. Second, your use of the word Diasporas, the word usually refers to the Jews being scattered by the Babylonians. If your using the word to refer to the scattering of the Christian faith that’s what Christians were commanded to do.

So, which is it…. Do you agree or not? Or does it just depend on who's making the statement?

Like Steve, I don't like using the word religion when it comes to Christianity either. That's because true Christianity is a relationship with a living person, [Jesus]. And religion is trying to be a good person on ones own merit.

So, is evolution faith based or not, James?

The way I understand it James is saying that if you are looking at evolution in the context of the origins of life then evolution would be considered faith based however I don’t believe James sees evolution in connection with life’s origins but rather life’s progression from it’s origins whatever those origins might be. Looking at evolution then in the context James presents it, it would not be faith based. I’m certainly not trying to speak for James here but I’m trying to see if I understand where James is coming from and I’m sure he’ll enlighten me.
