I had some camera shake due to excitement. Really wished I had taken the tripod out of the car while shooting these. However pure excitement took over and I just had to enjoy the moose instead of the perfect photo. Any critique is helpful.
After seeing images of loons the other day, thought I should stop lurking and jump in for some constructive tips. I was in a pontoon boat, so I was much higher off the water. We were in northern MN on a lake with several families of loons. What a hoot. I have been taking photos of loons for years, but when you find some that are not timid, it is a party. The boat driver got a fast lesson on where to keep the sun and after that, it was a marathon. Humming birds and loons, along with the grandkids take a lot of EHD space.
I also enjoy macro photography and have a 105mm. I shoot Nikon with a D300 with a thought of a D7000.
I appreciate any constructive tips. I have done most of my learning by trial and error. This site has been of great help.
