Thanks. It was a beautiful morning. Good luck to you with you're shots. I still need to "practice" more as well.

The hayrake and tree seem connected in a cool way, love this shot! I am expecting snow Sunday PM, so, maybe I'll get some practice

We had a ton of frost here in SD one Sunday morning. I had hoped the cloud cover would stay until after church was out, but no luck. I welcome all feedback and suggestions. Thanks.

Yesterday evening, I was driving past my favorite owl field---I do everyday, just to look--it was late, near dusk, and for just that moment the light was special.

Out of the truck, gear in hand and back onto the ground. A few wiggles in the dust and. . . the results

d300 200-400with tc1.4---vibration reduction on, completely hand held.

Hope you like it.

We are scheduled to go on a cruise the end of April. I'm trying to decide if my tripod is necessary to pack. Any suggestions for this week long cruise will be welcome. We have ports @ Bahamas, St.Thomas and St. John of the Virgin Islands. I have a Canon Rebel XSi with a Tamron 18-270 Lens. I'm also wondering about buying a 2X Extender for maximizing farther away shots. :D
