Great shot. At first I thought it was a painting. I wish I had your talent. Have a great day. :-)
I found that extra pair of legs in the background distracting. That being said I loved the concept of the photos. I liked the cropped versions much better. :) :) :)
Hi Fivedawgz,
I have an Agfa Ansco PB 20 Plenax that my father in law purchased when he was in the CCC camps in the 1930's.According to the paperwork it was made in Binghamton, N.Y. It is a folding camera in 620 format. It has a mask included with it to make half size photos. I used it once when a friend at Kodak scrounged me up a couple of rolls of 620 film. I have the original box it came in along with the instruction booklet and even the protective packing. Fortunately my father in law didn't believe in tossing things out. Have a great day.
Hi gessman, I know from whence you cometh. There are mornings I get up and feel like I had gone 15 rounds with Joe Louis and was too stupid to lay down in the first round. From the photos you post I would say it is still a lot of satisfaction for you to get the camera out. Your work is beautiful and I bet when you see the finished product the pain takes a back seat. Remember the pain will still be there whether you are doing what you enjoy or if you just sit in a chair.
I love that third photo. It makes her look so serene and as if having a moment of reflection. I wouldn't change a thing. If it were in a display of photos it would catch my eye immediately. Definitely a keeper.
I have the same problems. Arthritis and a rotator cuff even surgery couldn't fix. There isn't much I can add except that from the photos shown a smaller camera is not a hindrance to you. Great work.
One thing to watch out for is shadows. Usually using the flash will help avoid this problem.
