Its an oldie-but purpose???
We have what are referred to as scrub jays here in Texas although the coloring appears to be different than those in Florida. Sorry to read that yours are endangered.
I have a pair building a nest in a tree in my yard. They seem to be unafraid and will come within a few feet of me to pick up corn that I have thrown on the ground.

Great pictures of the tufted titmouse. This bird is one of my favorite subjects. The second photo looks like it could be put on a greeting card.
I have just started scanning old slides from the 60's. Thanks for your suggestions. I will try and put them into practice.
I am using a HP G4050 that seems to do a fairly decent job.
Unfortunately a lot of the old slides have not done well over the years. Also scanning B&W photos-unfortunately lost negs many years ago.
Most of the slides were taken with a Nikon FTN 50 1.4 with Ektachrome. Left Nikon in a taxi in Bangkok in 1969-never saw it again. Replaced with Aishai Pentax Spotmatic which I still have.

Really great photos today. Here's a couple of mine.
Some visitors to my yard.
Saw this office chair in an abandoned parking lot. Must be a metaphor in it.
This is an old photo taken with a P&S but I liked the way it turned out as the sun had set.

Fantastic wildlife photos. Here is one of a rock squirrel that lives behind my house. Technically not a great photo, but I think this squirrel is a neat little rodent.
