Don't try to understand everything at once, you will become discouraged. Set your camera on P load an empty formatted memory card (formatted in the camera, not the computer), a charged battery - and go out and take pictures.

When you come back we will have something to discuss. What worked, what didn't and why - and the best part, what you need to know to make it better.

You can attach photos and we can look and help you learn what to look for. This method has worked for me as a mentor and my students time and time again. So go out and have fun, and lets see what you come up with
