Not everyone should be allowed to carry on board airplanes. An errant shot or two could lead to explosive decompression at operational altitudes. Air Marshals are armed with loads designed to not lead to explosive decompression of the aircraft should one or more of the rounds go through the bad guys and on to the aircraft's fuselage. On the streets, near sea level, you do not have to worry about "explosive decompression". That said, all air crew should be armed with firearms loaded with the Air Marshal laods and it should be widely advertised that such is the case! REMEMBER, IN ALL OF THE RECENT MOVIE THEATRE, SCHOOL/UNIVERSITY SHOOTINGS WERE DONE IN ADVERTISED"NO GUNS ALLOWED ENVIRONMENTS. A really nice place to watch for the "green flash" is on Waikiki beach at the Hilton hotel next to Ft. Derussy, which is a public park and beach on the island of Oahu When the skies are clear of clouds out over the sea at sunset you can witness and photograph with a long lens the "Green Flash" phenomenon which occurs just as the last bit of sun slips below the horizon. You can learn about the "Green Flash" by doing a Google search or going straight for Wikipedia. :mrgreen:
You are right. What you are referring to though are aerodynamic trails which occur in aircraft that have such heavy wing-loading as to yield very strong vortex circulations,i.e., low pressure circulations at the wing tips. :-)

No! Suggest you take an Introduction to Meteorology course at your local Community College and learn that those "Chem clouds" are condensation trails (CONTRAILS) from high flying jet aircraft. Also learn how to identify the atmospheric conditions that generate them and those "big puffy white clouds" and learn the names of the clouds within the four families of clouds, i.e., Low, Middle, High, and clouds of vertical development.
I'm confused. I understand the basic difference between a DX sensor and an FX sensor and lean towards the FX sensor; however, the price difference is significant so what is the advantage of the DX over the FX, other than price, if any?
