I am going to be the odd ball here. I like the green best after looking at both on download.
  glad you pointed that out. Its amazing what you can see when you download photos!
What will this photo be used for?
It's a view from the back door of my Lodge. It was a picture I took while trying some infrared. Kind of a reference picture. Noticed the highlights were blown out and was going to discard. Played around and came up with this and thought it was attractive. Will probably donate it to the Lodge for hanging if they chose.

My wife thought I was kidding when I showed her my first car - 49 Chevy. She's a few years younger than I.

Not as hard when I told her I only paid $50 for it in in 1963. Had a new Earl Sheib paintjob (battleship grey), four new tires and new seat covers. Six cylinder and three on the tree. Bought it from a neighbor. Sure wish I still had it!

Which treatment seems to go best with this scene?

Nice shots. My dad would take me and my brother fishing in that area over 50 years ago. At that time there we still had shad runs and the sky would be filled with birds dining on them. Above the dam was a beautiful reservoir and gas powered motors were not allowed. Deer Creek also came in below the dam, I believe, and it was stocked with trout of several species. Beautiful area and nice pics.
Thanks. I have Lightroom and Photoshop CS6 (new) but just found these pictures on a stored hard drive and posted because of the "Drama' and beauty I am fortunate enough to view through my occupation. As I noted, these were taken with an S2 IS. I've since upgraded through an XTi to a T3i and some better lenses. These were more snapshots then anything else.
I guess I was just trying to share a view most people do not have the opportunity to see. I feel fortunate. Also I will stop being so lazy and strive to post more technically correct photos from this time forward.
Anyhow, Merry Christmas,

In the spirit of giving, I could not resist showing these pictures. My wife's chapter of the Women of the Moose gathered foodstuff (182 pounds) for those less fortunate . They made the delivery yesterday. Fact: there are 25 Chapters within 50 miles. Fact: Thursday, the 28th is her last radiation treatment. This is giving.

Had the opportunity to spend some time at the Tampa Convention Center in June/July. This was before they lit the bridges. I thought some of these might be of interest. Critiques welcome.

As a semi-retired carpenter, I'm usually up and about earlier then most and often find myself in odd locations. These were taken with a Canon S2IS several years ago. These were taken of downtown St Petersburg, FL from about the 20th floor of one of two highrises being built. You can see The Pier, which is due for renovation; the Vinoy Hotel with the other highrise in the left corner; and the marina with part of the Honda Grand Prix course behind it. Yes, I am aware of the horizon issue in all of them.
Hope you enjoy.

I use different browsers on my different computers. One browser I use is Google Chrome. It has an extension available, EXIF-Viewer-Extension at https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/exif-viewer/lplmljfembbkocngnlkkdgabpnfokmnl
I use this when I am viewing pictures on line and wonder "How'd they do that?" You can right click on many pictures and choose show EXIF data and that information is available without downloading the picture.
Hope this helps someone out there. It sure helps me.
Thought some members might appreciate this site. It lists trigger voltages for many different flashes. Recommended if you want to try old flashes with newer DSLRs.

Discovered a new park (for me) near Palm Harbor. County park named Wall Springs Park. Numerous nature trails and walks. To my surprise, they have a three story rough timber edifice you can ascend and view the Gulf of Mexico. These were taken about eight this morning during my visit. I have found several parks and attractions through sate, county and federal websites as well as sites like SWFMUD, South West Florida Water Management District. Man, they own thousands of acres and most is open to the public. Any how, enjoy!
