sorry hit the send button, I think you are talking about the canon?
thank you all foe the help, a question for StrangerHart.
Who makes the lens you are talking about the
I have a canon 70d my interests moostly nature birding, landscape, macro and family stuff. I have a canon 24-105 macro and a canon 50mm kit lens. On order is the tamron 150-600. Any additional thougts, was thinking about a 70 or 75-250?
At the end of cape may past the shopplng area is sunset beach with the offshore storm should have great wave shots. Out side of town a several parks one is a nature park which will have great birding and winds up on the other side of sunset beach. The other park has a great bird watching area if i remember correctly now is when the do the migration counts, many birds a lot of birds of pray going through.
The rich get richer and the others hope saved and invested properly for early retirement
I do agree with you point. But that in the area where i live big box stores and online merchants have forced all but one photoograhy shop out of business. I will call see what they have in stock
Thank you all for your input. Trip is next year so there is time. Good idea about rentig, could invest some money and road test.
yes I left out the Tamron 150-600 by mistake. this was a lens I am considering. The new canon at $2500 well a bit out my range. but possibly the older canon will come down and be a good choice. From what I am reading. the Tamron and the Sigma 150-500 start to loose some as they get out there. But from the pictures that have been posted by users of all of the lenses it is all fairly close. Would you agree
Hi, new to group, and what good stuff comes out of this forum. Retiring end of month leaving old film and went digital. Purchased a canon 70d and a canon 24-105 for daily shooting. Need more glass, like doing nature and going to Africa next year. Anyway choices canon 100-400,
Sigma 50-500
Sigma 150-600
I have looked at comparisons, shots taken and posts.
Sggestions please
two double nns that would be 4 ns
thank you will give that a try
Took som pictures of new boat some in shade and some in direct sun
White boat got the blinkies, another shot of a bird by the water after a rain storm then direct sun. More blinkies. Thought i broke something. Good warning device will leave engaged.
Thank you that was it, i enabled the highlite alert
Hi I am new to the forum, not really I have been lurking in the background. Lots of info great pictures and an area to learn. I am going to retire soon and always wanted to get into photography. Had 35mm film cameras in the past and wanted to move up. Had some point and shoot and got the bug. I own a Canon 70D and a 24-105 canon lens. When reviewing pictures I find that the areas that are in full sunlight get a black and grainy flashing. What might have caused this, didn't happen until I set camera to save in jpeg and raw. Thank you in advance
