Never had a problem with Amazon. I'm a Prime member; saves me more money in a couple of months than the membership costs, arrives in a couple of days, and perhaps makes returns easier. Just my thoughts. Are you checking the reviews and ratings on the 3rd party buyers you have dealt with?
Congratulations!!! Nowadays that is a really an achievement. My wife & I celebrated our 50th in October, 2016, by going to Big Bend NP in west Texas where we had ridden our horses extensively 30-40 years ago. Was pleasantly surprised to not see much change. Beautiful if you like mountainous desert terrain. Whatever you do just enjoy!! After that many years love is still growing.

Not to be contrary, but I don't put much stock in the Washington Post. Kinda like the New York Times. Too much ideological slant. Wonder if the $85M figure for security is just that; security, or for all foreign aid we give them.
Answer seems simple to me; build the wall and the deduct the cost from any foreign aid we give to Mexico.
I had satellite tv. Nasty weather would knock the picture out. Went to Walmart & for about 15 to 20 dollars got a voion stick to your window antenna so I could get the local weather on one of my tv's when the storm knocked out the satellite reception. Works fine. I am 20-30 miles from the tv stations in hilly country.
I don't understand the hullabaloo over the wall. You can get Mexico to pay for it, by taking the amount of money the wall will cost out of our foreign aid to them. Not only would it take care of the cost; it might encourage Mexico to tighten its method for dealing with illegal immigrants from Central America that traverse through Mexico to get here. All they need to do is take some responsibility in helping us with this problem. BTW, I am not anti-Mexico. I grew up on the border, and, worked alongside people from Mexico who I had respect for. I have traveled in Mexico and found the people in the interior of Mexico very friendly & kind. IMO, one of the problems we have in the US is being too willing to take care of people from elsewhere before taking care of our own. BTW, with the press says concerning immigrants, they always fail to consider the difference between legal immigrants & illegal immigrants.

So true. Born in 1943, I was just old enough to remember the airlifted goods to Berlin by the Allies. Then the new awakenings in the '50's as described by so many of you.
Kids today, alas, have no concept of that time period.

1991 Mazda 626 sold still running good 8 yrs ago. Odometer broke at 260,000, then drove another year before selling it.
