There was some discussion awhile back concerning photoshop cc as a download for $9.99 per month. Some people said they were able to do so without a contract where they could cancel at any time with no penalty.
I will be taking an informal class of 6 sessions at UT, and need to have a copy downloaded on my laptop prior to class which starts next Mon. 7/24/17. I have talked to Adobe and was told that I could indeed subscribe at the above price, but if I cancelled within a year I would owe about 50% of the balance of the year. Could someone shed some light on the above? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael
Welcome, and enjoy. Lot's of good info available on the forum.
I'm 73 and I remember those things. Reckon they got the date wrong on my birth certificate? Or maybe I was just ahead of my time. LOL
Can understand the duct tape and clothes hanger wires. Years ago, twice in mountainous terrain I broke breast collars on my saddle while horseback riding. Fixed the second one with duct tape and clothes hanger wires and it held up in the same terrain for another week. May the breast collar should have been made from the above materials. Hmm.
Swearing; don't really how it enhances anything. Doesn't particularly bother me, but would keep me from sending this clip to other people.
The remark about our president: It's our country. Our people may be different in our needs and wants than yours. No criticism, just the way things are. If every country felt the same way about everything, it would be pretty dull. In some ways, we have more freedoms than some other countries, and the way we do things has worked okay for over 200 years and made us a beacon for freedom, and a superpower, for better or worse. Seems like a lot of people want to come here. Didn't mean to get on a soapbox here, just proud of my country.
Their ham radio equipment was basic but brick solid.
To Howard5252. Just curious about your opinion on the Nikon P500; in what areas did you feel it failed to perform as desired. Just looking for input on the camera as I am looking at one.
Thanks.
I was considering getting a Nikon D5XXX series camera with several lenses, but this camera has me really intrigued. So much capability without having to lug around a camera with several lenses, as well as, less investment. I think I may just get one.
Hear, hear. 73 yrs old/wife 70. Still learning. Been attending Olli program seminars & lectures @ Univ of Tx -Austin for last yr & a half on subjects ranging from National Security to Evolutionary History.
Starting 2 photography classes w/I a month. I guess you are never to old to learn something new. I'm just grateful to be able to learn something new.
Now, Sarge. I pass gas in public (quietly, usually), but but I'm not rude about it
Has anyone considered the Nikon P900 super-zoom bridge camera? Can't change lenses, but affordable considering the zoom range would cost a small fortune to duplicate in separate lenses. Just thinking.
Wow!!! Really ruffled some feathers with that one.
I like them all. A good variety of exposures.
A little out of my price range as well.
