Thanks, Graham.
A little side note for those who may not be familiar with dressage. The horse has been trained to respond to the rider's hip & leg pressure so subtle as to be literally indiscernible to most people. If you notice the movement of the horse's tail (wringing), that indicates resistance which adds to the rider's skill & takes nothing away from the horse's skill. I have not riden dressage but have enjoyed watching my wife perform although at not that level. Truly beautiful to watch on any level. Thanks for sharing, Graham; my wife thoroughly enjoyed watching the video with me.
what's with all the comments about mental stability. People with that problem also find other ways to accomplish what they want. I am TRULY SORRY for anyone who has had a loss from the use of a gun, as well as any other cause. Mine, when not with me, are locked up in an expensive safe when not needed. I have been in a situation where if I had not had my gun I would have definitely been beaten or worse (happened, not on the street, but in a National Wilderness area, of all places). Thank goodness the sight of it was enough to end the situation. Sheriff had no problem with the way I handled the situation when he arrived. If someone doesn't like them, that's fine with me and their right. Just don't infringe on my right to be able to defend myself or use the in a legitimate manner. We are the first responders as we are the first on the scene and I can't afford a personal bodyguard. I respect your right; please respect mine.
Wow! Peterff talks about others being a little out there. Perhaps you should stop reading this forum if your sensibilities are so easily offended.
Again, thanks for the replies. Instructor adamant about Photoshop CC. Anyway, subscription doesn't sound bad. Cost equal to a couple of hamburgers a month which would help me lose weight. :-)
Don't under stand comment about P520. Extension tube, maybe. Macro & zoom lense? P520 not an interchangeable lens camera; bridge or super zoom. Please elaborate.
I live in the country, too, about 15 miles from Austin, Tx. Population: 950,000. They have been trying, along with several other cities to control everything around them. State legislature is strongly pursuing a bill that would require people being in an area that they try to annex to be able to vote yea or nay. If nay, the city cannot annex them.
Wondering about the 5200 & any lens that go with it, etc. Prices?
Thanks again, all. Guess I will bite the bullet and do the subscription. Class required Photoshop CC or Photoshop CS6. I'm not a computer nerd, so thought the class would be helpful. Only cost $79 for the class as I am a member of an online learning group.

Thanks for the replies, all. Figured what the answer would be but thought I would ck. Wife's laptop only has 2 GB of ram. Looks like I'll need to get my own laptop w/more ram.
Great pics. That is beautiful country. I was fortunate enough to be able to take a couple of horses with my wife and me and ride and camp on the trails in the wilderness areas that abutted Yellowstone National Park form 1977 to 1983. Had to shoo a bear out of camp one night in the Tetons. Now if I can find my old slides from those trips; packed them away when I moved and still haven't found them in storage.
Liberal political correctness run amok.
There was some discussion awhile back concerning photoshop cc as a download for $9.99 per month. Some people said they were able to do so without a contract where they could cancel at any time with no penalty.
I will be taking an informal class of 6 sessions at UT, and need to have a copy downloaded on my laptop prior to class which starts next Mon. 7/24/17. I have talked to Adobe and was told that I could indeed subscribe at the above price, but if I cancelled within a year I would owe about 50% of the balance of the year. Could someone shed some light on the above? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael
