I was here at sunset. This photo was taken a little past sunset. Since there was almost no color showing when I downloaded it, I thought it would be a good candidate for my first B&W.

Caron2, I am a new Nikon D300 user. A good free source of D300 information is Ken Rockwell's Nikon D300 User's Guide. On page 80, he discusses Picture Control Settings that you can adjust in camera. Go to Ken Rockwell's web page and search D300 for the link to the guide.
IMHO. I would flip the pricing structure and charge the restaurant $20 to show up and the party $50 for your basic package to start with a view to a possible future increase of the package price if you are in demand.

I agree, I liked the sky and water in the original more but personally liked the rocks in the HDR. I was unable to tone down one without effecting everything.
You can do another HDR with the sky & water toned down & in photoshop lay one picture on top of the other & erase away the over done part.
Thanks for the advise, I will try to layer them like you suggest. I remember seeing a video tutorial about it.
