Went for a walk after work along the Vallejo water front, and there was a bloke there blowing soap bubbles. He wasn't as successful as others I've seen but he got some fairly good ones.
I had my old Olympus E500 with 40-150 zoom with me. When ever I see something like that I try to capture some images, usually it's a disaster, missed or out of focus.
Today I had some success... :-)

Hi Ladies and Gents, just discovered this place and as it seems interesting and friendly I thought I'd join up.
Currently living in the SF bay area, and have had an on going, with many quite spells, interest in photography for decades.
My current gear in an Olympus E3 with Zuiko F2.8 12-60 zoom and Zuiko F2.8 50- 200 zoom.
Subject interest varies from landscape to animals to just something odd that catches my eye.
drifting toward night photos and starscapes but I'm stiil new at that and am not happy with the results yet.
I'm adding a couple of shots for you to look at.
