omigosh, not to worry about the legs. It's a perfect composition as it is. A real prize winner in my opinion.
Wow! Well done, very effective. As an eco-friendly jewelry designer and metal smith/maker you have my kudos. Thank you : )

For street photography, especially involving people, I much prefer a camera with viewfinder. It can be difficult to capture a decisive moment if you don't see the lcd screen very well because of bright sunlight.
Ricoh makes an external view finder that can be attached to this camera.

Did you buy branded or off branded batteries?
What charger did you buy?
I bought Ricoh and Wasabi batteries. I bought the Wasabi Power charger.
Thank you, yes you are right and thanks for sharing. When I was shopping I didn't see this anywhere.
After much research, I recently bought the Ricoh GR. I chose it over the GR II because I wanted the macro function. I am very pleased with this camera and just took it on a trip to the Mediterranean doing both landscapes, street photography and closeups. This camera is smarter than I am but has a merciful and very good auto mode. It has amazing resolution. If you get it, get several batteries and an external charger because if you shoot a lot you will go through the batteries pretty fast. I carried 2 extras at all times while traveling because I took so many shots. It is small and unobtrusive, easily carried in a pocket which fit my bill : )
Wow, guys, aging is a challenge. Thank you for your generous sharing. Just got my new Ricoh Gr and am feeling renewed in my vision. Omigosh, look at the clouds this morning and I race outdoors. It is a bit of a learning curve with all of the personal settings that are possible, but love the light weight portability and sharp images, including macro.
Thanks for your reply, Wallbanger, and for the encouragement!
Many thanks for all the welcomes. Love the Hog : )
