What is a good Micro lens for my Nikon D7100? I need something good without breaking my bank account.

I've have the nikkor 40mm micro 2.8 and the nikkor 85mm micro. Both yield good results and are a low cost solution.

Has anyone used the SONY E Power Zoom 18-105 f4 G OSS lens?
I would appreciate any feedback.
Also what about the SONY E Power Zoom 16-50 f3.5-5.6 lens
which is normally the kit lens when you buy a Sony a6000 for example.

Sent back the 16-50. (not sharp) Kept the a6000 body.(loved it) Replaced with Sigma 19mm Art Lens. (like it)

I recently obtained a Sony a6000 to see what the fuss was all about. The most impressive thing I've noticed is the ability to use my Nikon glass with it. Even tho it is manual focus with this glass and adapter, the images are excellent. Now I'm waiting for Nikon to build its own mirrorless camera with full size sensor or bigger.

However, That might be wishful thinking. Change is in the air.

We called it darkroom technique back then. We burned and dodged...even created cutouts for masking...used different colored filters for warming, tinting...etc. Now we call it PP.

I no longer spend hours working on one print...

I love "darkroom technique" now.
