Beautiful composition and camera.
Thank You! I have 3 of the prime lenses for the Fuji camera and they never let you down.

It looks very nice and you selected the right lens opening to give you an excellent depth of field.
I am guessing you used a tele because I can see compression in the mountains of the background.
I actually used a 35 mm f2 lens. I don't know that a 50 mm equivalent lens would do much compression... Thank you for looking.
We are lucky to be here - thank you!

Gorgeous photo! Did you post-process, and, if you did, would you mind very much sharing how you accomplished your finished image?
Thank You.
I always post-process! And no I don't mind sharing :) This was a quick and "easy to fix" image.
This started out as a Raw and first corrections were done in PS Camera Raw. Raw photos are typically quite flat looking right out of the camera. Added some exposure, dropped the highlights, opened the shadows on the trees, raised the white, added contrast, increased the clarity and color- and cropped the trees. The processed Raw image is very close to the finished image but I did take it to OnOne for the finishing touches although very little was done there except to darken the sky and perhaps added a light vignette.
This image was taken near sunset, the lighting was pretty good, fog was settling in, the tide was getting towards low tide which opened up the beach view.

I have taken this photo many times. The Oregon coast is one of our favorite places.
This is a nice shot any time of day. Great capture.
One of my favorite places too. Thank you.

That is a very beautiful image....love the POV.
I have been looking for that POV in the right lighting which is not always easy to do in Oregon :) Thank you.

I think it was the higher than normal tides with the whitecaps that added to that look. Thank you for looking and commenting.
