Sorry, somethings got hold of me! 8-)

All great flower pics but the Water Lilly in the Koi pond is my favorite without doubt.

Ian

Thanks for looking Ian and for your kind comments. My phot skills need a lot of work, but I'm willing to put forth more effort now. This forum makes one want to try harder.

Thank you Horse art for that wonderful tour, beautiful photos, the little guy peeking through the daisies is special and I love the horse statues on the path, thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much. My blue eyed dog was with me evrywhere I went and when I whipped out a camera, she seemed to be a little puzzled.

11 of these pictures that I posted are all in a Botanical Garden just outside of Lafayette IN. You would love it Horseart, especially if you like daffodils. I didn't even post any of the daffodil pictures I have. ;) Maybe I will add one on before I hit the sack.

I love them. I have lots of Jonquils and Narcissus in my yard. People in Tn call them March Flowers. I am not from here originally. I was born and raised in B'ham Al. Down there, they are Jonquils!

:-D

I always got enjoyment out of woodworking. It was a good relaxation from being a Paramedic. Then when I would get the time I would go out and shoot Skeet and Trap. That would go along with fishing.

Oh shoot! I forgot shooting (not hunting) and fishing! That too. They don't call me Annie Oakley for nothing.
I am NEVER bored

Ivan, I MUST apologize! Being fairly new here, I truly was NOt aware that there is a rule (possibly, unspoken) about it being a NO NO to post in someone else's thread without being invited. I have seen it happen so many times on the forum that I guess I just didn't think about it until I saw someone get called down about it today in a thread. I shall not be doing that again!!!! Carry on, please.

Me too... I have hundreds if not thousands of pictures of flowers. So don't even get me started.

Oh, go ahead John. It won't make me feel so bad about flooding the forum with mine. Yes, that's a morning Glory and I see some Spider Wort and I think the tiny blueish thing you didn't name is either a tiny aster of sorts or an ice plant. There are so many kinds of each, it's hard to tell. The un-named one could even be a phlox.

Many hobbies but this time of year its syncing Christmas lights to audio. Here is one example:

I also like cooking/smoking/bbq and making movies. Here is an older version of bacon explosion. Warning, just watching video can harden arteries.

OK, I went back and watched the bacon explosion. We owned a sausage plant for 26 years, but I never liked sausage (couldn't tell anybody that), but it does look good and my son will love it. Gotta send it to him!!!

I love it. I'm scared to watch the bacon one. Call me chicken!

I love too many things. I started drawing and painting at 4, had my first camera at 8, first dark room at 10, loved horse since I was 3, love flowers, parrots, aquariums and gourmet cooking, play the organ and taught ballroom dancing for several years. I studied Interior design years ago and still love decorating!
I did wall murals for 35 years and have retired from that before I kill myself climbing on a ladder. I have hand painted (then scanned and printed) greeting cards since 1993 and sell tons of them at Christmas time in all 50 states and 5 other countries. I can still break a horse (though I am a lacey kind of southern lady) and ride a big blue roan that I still have to get on a ladder to get in the saddle. I'd say painting and riding are my favorites. With all I love to do, housework is at the bottom of my list of favs. before we married, I told my hubby "I can EITHER be a great lover or a great housekeeper." He said "forget the house". WELL, long answer. Sorry you asked?

Oil painting. I love yellow houses

I really like these for the reason that many folks would leave thier gear at home and go shopping on days like this.
F/V Mandi looks like an after camera hyper-vignetting job (I know it isnt).
The "From my living room" image is just stunning. I'd love to have my morning coffee viewing that.
The untitled shot of the fir tree lines with fog has that B+W look with the deep rich color muted by the fog.
The seaplane image is one of those that you would hang just to watch people look, then do a double take when they picked up on the background.
Am I gushing? Thats all I got. Peace...Out!

Rocco, if nobody was looking at my photos I would pick up the "marbles" and go home. I really appreciate your patronage and comments, I must somehow justify the time I am putting into posting here.None of these photos was "fiddled" with, I like when the fog makes the background to disappear and a boat is seemingly floating in an empty space (like Mandi J).I enclose F/V Fran which I like even better than Mandi J. Plus a few other photos up your alley I hope. Thanks,Ivan.
