Have any of you good people got any info on the fuji sl1000 bridge camera, It isn't on sale as yet over here in England. I have watched my walking buddy miss many photo opportunities with him changing lenses on his Nikon dlsr while I have my shot taken using my Olympus bridge camera. But when he does get the shot .. well it leaves mine looking second class, any advice would on what to go for would be appreciated.

The first photo is Barnard Castle, which was once owned by King Richard the third (dug up recently in a Leicester car park) He must have looked out of this window many times. the second is the county bridge below the castle and the third is Egglestone Abbey with the Bowes Museum (left top) and Barnard castle private school, both of them within the Town limits.
I hope these snaps don't offend anybody, if they do I apologize. I have tried to raise my family to high standards....and have failed miserably!!.
