I AM SURE IT'S A VERY NICE LENS, I don't happen to have the Dollars right now. It is certainly worth your asking price. I really like PENTAX DA primes. With a rear converter ya got 420mm or 600mm with the 2.0. Wish I could do it now. You should get a customer soon. RJM

Thanks. I wanted to make it affordable to someone that wanted this lens.

The above lens is for sale in good condition. The glass is excellent, body is obviously used but clean and hood has some scuffing. I bought this used a little over a year ago and have been very pleased with its performance overall, especially IQ. The images simply pop. I have not noticed any CA or flaring. Images are very sharp. Focus is right on and quiet. Pentax's stabilization system works very well with this lens. Right now this lens is heavy for me since shoulder surgery but it is lighter than most in its class and is hand holdable. It comes with box, soft case, hood, front and back caps and a 77 mm UV filter which I keep on most of the time. 650.00 plus postage.

Update - Out of sling- finished 6 weeks of therapy, ROM and strength improved. No longer need any adaptive equipment but need to use tripod or monopod for the Panasonic/Leica 100-400 mm lens. Although I can lift it easily enough can't hold it steady without support. I am able to handle the Nikon 70-300 mm lens with environmental support- it's about 10 ounces lighter than the 100-400 mm lens. Thanks for everyone's input and support.

Take a deep breath :) I have had similar things happen to me. I had a new camera/lens combo and put it on a tripod. And it must have been too front heavy for the tripod and just went kerplunk face forward to the payment. Same end result as yours- cracked hood. And then I was carrying two cameras and I leaned forward forgetting that one of them was just over my shoulder and not across my chest and it fell to the ground- same amount of damage. I had leather body cases on all the cameras and think that minimized the damage as well as hoods in place. It is scary considering the price of new equipment. And it makes you feel very stupid too. I think water damage is the worse- often no happy endings there.

So I'm still not sure what I want to purchase it will be an epson
I need to scan a virity of mediums prints, slides, negatives( both B&W - color)
So I'm leaning towards the V800
Where I'm most confused is what software
I'm an IOS user and plan to scan directly into a WD 4gig external hard drive

FYI- I have an Epson V 700 film scanner for sale in UHH classifieds right now if that is of any interest. I just put it in classifieds a couple of days ago so it should be easy to find. I bought it new several years ago but haven't done film for a couple of years. It is a workhorse!

Hi Suntouched. I am interested in purchasing the scanner as I still do a lot of film photography. If you would, please let me know your price and what the shipping to Oklahoma might be. Thanks.

I found a box today so now have measurements to calculate shipping. If you will private message me with your address I can get the shipping costs.

Some pics of the scanner- total of 9 film trays including one glass tray for MF-3 trays for 35 mm film. I did a lot of MF film and the idea of the glass trays was to hold the film down flat which gets you a better, sharper scan. The glass tray was made by 3rd party and was over 100.00 as it uses some type of anti reflective glass. I don't even remember the company that made them but in retrospect they were overpriced :)

Good Morning-
I have another person making a decision about the scanner but as soon as he decides I will let you know. I estimate the shipping costs to be around 50.00-60.00. Oklahoma shouldn't be too bad. In order to get an accurate cost I will need to find a box and then check the measurements and weight. I will look for the box today. I am asking 420.00 for the scanner. There are extra trays and a glass tray included. We can talk about sharing shipping costs. Thanks for your interest.
