Thank you MT, just downloaded it and it sure looks good, very comprehensive.
I normally use the B&W mode in my camera, it allows me to use B&W, B&W + Yellow filter and B&W + red filter and B&W + Green filter as well as a Sepia mode which is ideal for a retro look.
Lovely Pictures. I use Picassa most of the time and have found that it does the job easily and simply. The only time I use Photoplus is to attempt to make entries for our club competitions but even then Picassa does most of the wrk.
1 and 3 Composition excellent, that beach looks really windy. No. 2 I prefer Mike Gallaghers version, it looks more vibrant. I wish I had as artistic an eye as you, but I'm just a point and shoot snapper but hoping to improve.
Lovely clear photos, wish I could get as close, and persuade them to stay still for me.
Its bad enough on a nice day in harbor, just imagine doing it in a Force ten off Cape Horne
Thanks Gregory and Fergal. It was a very windy evening and quite cold so even on my tripod it was difficult to keep the camera steady. I wish that my Fuji s2500 had a thread so I could use a cable release or even better a remote. My X10 has, but the lens only goes to 240mm even with Digital + optical.
A heron and some Canada geese with chick. Taken with my Fuji 2500 at full zoom 1052mm.
Thanks for all the nice comments folks. The causeway is still there but is underwater from half tide, Ferry boats run regularly and that is part of the fun of the place.
Just across the road from where I snapped it, there is a bird sanctuary with a lot of water fowl, so I will post some shots taken with my bridge camera at 1052mm so they are a bit blurred as it was a windy evening.
Von Ribbentrop said that he would take it over when the Germans had invaded England (Which they never quite managed). Sorry its not level, I posted the original instead of the final copy.
Taken with my new Fuji X10 this evening

Yes, but it uses film you know and you have to use chemicals and stuff like that to pp so it can't be very good. also the glass is I believe only a 50mm and that provides no reach. I wonder why the guy bought it!

Speaking of Leica, did you read the article that someone bought a 1923 o-series camera for $2.8 million at an auction?
Like a mountaineer, he bought it because it was there.
Thanks guys, I am not sure what the names of 1 & 3 are.
Horseart, I love the 3D effect of jumping out of the frame.
here are some more photos from my (wifes) garden.
