this canon is not a slr of any kind, its a point and shoot camera. you might find some lists for it on the web, it was given to me by a user on the cloudy nights web site.

most of the photos I take now of my models are taken with my canon A620 and it's flash is built in and there no way to put a diffuser on it. If there was more light inside , I could use the C setting instead of the auto setting.

I have taken photos even longer than I have been building models. My first camera was a old snap shot one way back in the mid 50's
after that one it was many years before I got another one. I was in the Army then, I got my 3rd wen stationed in W.G. and it was a voigtlander Bessamatic which got wiped out in Vietnam, that was when I got my first Topcon Super D. I now have it, another Bessamatic and a old pentax k1000 which was given to me. I also now have a canon A620. I also have two old Exa's that need repaied. but they are still usefull.

Those photos are good, I live in a mobile home that I own, but there is not a lot of room. so the ones I build are hung up on a wire across the top of the room. that is one reson I build space models. yet there are some that if I build them I'll have to work out a way to display them. this is a Cylon Basestar that I got back in '79 and is still in good shape.

as everyone can see I have been building since about 1960, but most of the time there where airplanes. In the last 3 years I have moved to scpace / sci-fi models.

I have found that for most of the photos of models I take, my canon A620 work good as it has it's own flash and No film. befor it, I would use only my topcon super d and get the pics done at the super market. but with this canon it's. I'm still have to be carefull in taking the photos and it not simple working with plastic models.

those tanks look good, I've just have built anything like them. In all my years of building I have done just airplanes, and spaceships and such. Right now I have 3 cylon basestars two BSG's, a Warbird from STNG along with my eagle, along with a model that needs building of Moonbase Alpha. I have one model that I need to get all the paints for, it's one for Babylon 5.

I have watched the Star Blazer video from Netflix too. And I have news for you, as that comes from Japan, I have found out that was a total of 5 or 6 anime movies made and there was a Live Action one made too last year. In the photo you see the 1/500 scale model I've been working on. I was sent a check off for a 1/35 scale of the same model. I first saw the anime movie back in '79 and I now have a glass disk that was made for the 10th anniversary of the movie. I got a very small model over in Hawaii and I'm building it.

Well by seeing what I have done, this should give you at lest a small hint as to take photos of plastic models. I have used my Topcon to take a lot of them, but as I was given a canon A620, I've been using it for the last 3 weeks. I have also been taking photo off my t.v. screen. for the most part I have used a flash with my topcon, but the conon has it's own built in flash.

I have been working on a model of the space cruiser yamato and after I get it painted. I'll be doing a lot of photos of it as it is #1 in the building area.

that scope is about as good as a $3.00 bill. Up untal this last year I was posing the Telescope Buyers FAQ and I still have it in a tex file, and as it poined out, just about any cheap sope was about as good an a broken one. I myself am paying for a 12inch DOB that is costing me $3,000.00 and by summer I should have it, THAT is a telescope. In the past up until this last summer, I was able to review maney scopes.

I hope this work out ok, I'm new here and am slowy learning the way of this site. Most of the time I use my Topcon Super D, I also have a older Bessamitic, I got it to replays the one I lost to the vc over in vietnam. about 2 mnths ago I was given a Canon A620 and I'm having to learn all the times and settings that ituses. I have a lod of slids but no way to scan them yet. the normal film I get done at the local super market and have all my photos put on a CD then. I just dowload the ones I take with 620.
