We all use different photo imaging enhancement programs and we all have our favorites. I have several and used Aperture 3.2.4 I quickly tweaked it several different ways and came up with this on your thumbnail. I agree with someone else about using at least a f2.8 lens and probably a telephoto at least 70-200 mm would reach out and grab what you wanted in this case.
You being able to do that using film is wonderful. You'd be "a real killer" using a digital format. Very nice photographs. I hope I can capture half as interesting shots this Saturday for my co-worker's daughter's wedding. They have a professional taking the pictures for the wedding; I'm just an amateur hoping to capture one or two significant shots for them as a surprise. Now I have a goal to achieve after seeing the shots you posted. Once again, nice work!
If anyone knows the better or the best settings for shooting general video (with probably some people movement) with a Nikon D800, I sure would appreciate your advice and help. I'm completely knew to shooting video and would like to capture some footage at a friend's daughter's wedding this Saturday. Any help sure would be appreciated. I've looked in the manual and online, but not real sure of what would be best or how to set it all up. Thanks in advance.
Hello everyone. I'm an amateur, wanaby semi pro and enhance my skills to be respectable in the photography world. I've taken pictures for several years starting with film, then digital, and now better cameras. Recently finally received my D800 and very excited (latest camera was a D200). Now I must learn, learn, learn. Going to a co-workers daughter's wedding Saturday and will take surprise pictures trying to add to the hired professional's shoot. I would very much appreciate any and all advice with the D800 best video settings and any stills settings advice as well. It is definitely an ongoing learning process. Thanks to all.
Tom :)
