Fooling with a large spider web this A.M.

Going to play a bit more...Not quite what I had in mind...

I especially like the second; the web really stands out against the red background.

Was out playing golf one evening last week. No wind and great clouds. After I was done I got the camera out and shot some pictures. These are three of them. The course is in Jefferson City, Mo.

Great photos, Rufe! What a lovely setting and the sky cooperated to provide texture.

Was driving around with youngest daughter Thursday night chasing the sunset. She has her first DSLR. Came across a park late at night. Was at the park in April taking some shots of sculptures. One didn't appeal to me but that night it sure did. I guess sometimes it pays to go back to some places in the evening. Bob

Lovely shots! A lesson to give things a second look at another time.

I was going home when I hit a road block because of a fire about a block from my house! I had to detour so I parked and walked back up to the corner with my camera! Everyone got out ok and no firefighters were hurt putting it out! At least one good thing!

Wonderful action shots! Glad no one was injured.

Needed shots of men working for my photography class
Which one is better A or B or Non-of-the-Above
The 105mm 2.8 macro has a narrow DOF

I'd go for A since the topic is men working. Perhaps even crop a bit to highlight the workers.

We are here to celebrate my Aunts 90th birthday. Had dinner with cousin who's hosting, and their family........4 kids, and their spouses, and 13 of their 16 grandkids. (And we thought 4 grandkids in our place was a house full).

But what fun

It's late and I have a long day starting early, so here are my posts for this weeks Free Sunday.

1st a COMMERCIAL...As of January 2019, we will need someone to put out the monthly challenge calendar. Is that someone YOU? Dane and wife Judy have done the calendar for 2 years (they were the 3rd or 4th folks to do it) and it's someone else's turn - or the challenges will be discontinued after how many years, Larry?.

Here re my shots. Every time I do "velvet water" I think of Jimber!!
