The above (smilies) were for you Vin, I hit the wrong button/key... or something. I agree with what you said 100%

A little more dynamic range would help this one out, the colors are a bit washed out it seems. Still a very viewable shot, nice model.

I have failed to understand the significance of the comments here. This photo is a good example of nude photography, no more no less. The destructive comments make me sad to read on UHH. This forum is for nude photos, and its doing a fairly good job, in my opinion. The age and size of a given model is irrelevant, but the backstory IS interesting. THanks to all the other 'older males' who can appreciate this type of model, there are many others who arent quite as attractive. Who cares? These women are giving us the pleasure (as has already been said) of observing them in a very vulnerable state. They are all to be congragulated and celebrated. IMHO

Nice. The use of lighting is quite good and the pose works with it well IMHO.

Hi Paul, thanks for the reply. I agree with you and it sems you made a good interpretation of your parameters, I just feel that nude photography isnt necessarily art and vice versa, so I have difficulty understanding some of what I see. I love the female form, whether its art, or outright pornography (whose definition anyway?), as long as there is respect and care for the subject at hand. I dont feel that some of what is passed off as art fits any definition of the term. You're work was quite OK in that regard (some stuff I've seen could be called obscene). Art is always (by definition) stretching or crashing thru boundaries and conventions, its supposed to do that to help expand our horizons and perspectives but sometimes it can be downright vulgar, or appear that way. Gosh, we could go on and on, but anyway, have a nice day cold or not. lol

This is supposed to be for nude photography, not for abstract art. This can barely be identified as a person.

I agree with the guys who say there is way to much dead black space on the left, and the belly jewels are much more a distraction that adds little or nothing to the photo. A different crop with a little more of the umbrella, more light and less black would, or might, make a better print. Take advantage of the model's face as the center and focal point (IMHO).

A lot to like in this photo. I was taken by the hair. Her long highlighted hair is beautiful and flowing. The fuzz on her body and arms adds a realistic touch, and the pubic stubble adds humanity, making her real (and beautiful). The lighting is quite good, always depending on what the photog wants to portray. Shot well done IMHO.

I suppose I'm not artistic, but this has been done over and over so many times. It looks nice, but it really does nothing for me. I hope I just missed the point, or focus, or... I find no real center or subject, we are just looking at a couple of body parts. I hope i'm just incorrigible, but art doesnt affect everyone the same way. Please keep shooting and posting, you are doing the deal, I just didnt get this one.

Thanks Jim. I have Regitstax, but never had anything to use it on. I'm starting to have little glitches on my PC, probably will need to clear and reinstall OS (win7), I dont want the thing to screw up if I'm running a lot of data thru it. You guys get wind, clouds and other weather problems, we get high humidity, major light pollution, clouds and maybe a breeze (if we're lucky). I used to love going out west and in the mountains. The stars were unobstructed and seemed so close. I hope you still have some spots like that nearby. Take care, I gotta cut my #$*^ lawn and trim the edges and tight spots, etc. It is a workout and guarantees a gallon of sweat from the h&h. I do need the exercise tho. Maybe I can get a few singles tonight, the moon is waxing and is just above a quarter full (I think). Thanks again.

WOW Jim, you make it sound so simple. I guess it is actually, but the idea of aligning tracking, setting the times and the post work is daunting for a pre-beginner. I think I'll buy the telescope and take single or bursts 3-5 sec. or so. That I can maybe deal with. I mostly want good moonies, in a month or so I'll get the scope and spend my nights playing til I learn enough to get something to show. Do you know anything about Seben products?
