Very nice picture Is that the same bridge the ship back in 1979? I worked for a trucking company in Palmetto at that time and one of their truck mechanics was one of the people that was on the bridge and went into the bay in his pickup truck and survived.

I think at the moment when you took the photo the fish was very much alive hi hi. I just have never noticed a fish with the segmentations in its body such as that fish seemed to have.

Setting up and operating one of those machines was an art. How fortunate you are that your father served in such an important role in our history, and then new the bible in many languages I am sure. How great was that.
Great picture I never operated a linotype, but when I was a young man still in high school I melted several thousand pounds of lead making the ingots to use in the machines at a local newspaper.
Not sure what type of hawk, but photo is calendar material.

It looks like it has been in some ones barn that was just white washed.
