I used to do roofing when the bundles were 90 lbs, then 80 lbs. Now I find the 40lb bags wood wood pellets for my pellet stove weigh about the same as the shingles did. (I am 85, nearing 86)

Not if you move toward me.

And the mask inside is to protect me.

I live in a ruby red state. But even our Governor, deputy to Mike Pence, publicly apologized when he forgot his mask.

The paper/cloth mask does NOT protect YOU. It is to protect the other guy from YOUR cough, sneeze or breathing on them. Vapor droplet carrier of virus from YOU.

Fear can completely shut down the immune system. Your body has 2 defenses against attacks. One for internal attacks and one for external attacks. The immune system is for internal attacks. If you are in the woods and a bear becomes interested in having you for lunch, your body makes quick decisions. Completely shut down immune system and place adrenaline in full speed ahead. The plan is to give you every ounce of energy available to get away from the bear. Shutting down the immune system for 10 minutes is a small price to pay.

On the other hand, love, happiness, and gratitude can increase the immune system by as much as 50%. Yes, it is actually measurable.

Some people say they never get sick while others say they always get sick. Self inflicted in both cases.

So just realizing that the government is lying to you might be enough of an edge to not get covid-19.

Take heed to the last sentence.

Why is it that so many supposedly "educated" people have adopted the word "impact" to mean affect. We have become a generation of ubiquitously, uneducated, grammatical, morons.

Why this totalitarian response to CV and not the flu which kills more people. It is political posturing to enable a world government.

If the store is open to sell essential items, and the customer has taken the health risk to physically visit the store; why would the government, local or whatever, further damage the economy limiting sales to only essential items? That is simply stupid—further pointless government control, and a disservice to the freedom of the customer and the retailer to conduct business that benefits both. It is terrible thing to have to close down stores at all—why would the government add to the misery, with further unnecessary restrictions?

Amen to that. Our forefathers had a Libertarian concept of autonomy and freedom that is lost on the duopoly.

It is not the camera, but who is behind it. Fancy gear does not make a good photograph.

Prefer Les and Larry Elgart - played big band at local country clubs while in college (early 60s) to make beer money -- listened to Nashville in the wee hours on the way home afterwards every Saturday night.

The Elgart band was a bit commercial but had a very strong lead trumpet and polished arrangements.

Thanks Mark. Ellington didn't always follow music protocol in writing or arranging. His motto was "If it sounds good, it IS good."

I don't see intravenous Clorox listed in the article. That will be the game changer.

Don't you mean a "game ender"?
