Jerry. Interesting - I bought this very bag over a year ago for my Z50. Compact enough, and allows enough room for the 16-50 and 50-250 lenses. I have also used it with my Z6II and 20-200 lens. Can include and extra battery and charger as well. I use it most of the time and it will fit in my backpack (used as a carry on) when I fly.

This would be an update to my previous post, above. I bought the smaller version, not the messenger size. Sorry for any expressed misinformation.

I wanted a slightly larger camera bag, and this one looked good, for $35.99. It's gone up $4.00 since I ordered mine last week, but it could go down by $8.00 next week. Who knows? I like the large, removable, padded interior liner. The material of the bag is tough, and there is lots of room for storage, inside and in outer pockets.

The "Caden Camera Bag" interior measures 11.8" X 5.1" X 8.3". That's for the small size. You can use it with or without the inner liner, depending on what you're carrying. It's more compressible without the liner, but it doesn't offer the same level of protection. Like most other camera bags, it comes with a pair of Velco-equipped dividers. The shoulder strap is permanently attached. The two straps on the front attach with snaps for quick opening.

For Sale: Tokina AF 235 (20-35mm f/3.5-4.5) (Sold, many thanks to all who responded)
Ships with both original Tokina caps and a Tiffen 72mm UV Filter
Weight: (475g measured) 525g with both original caps and UV Filter

Asking Price: $45 (plus shipping)

Condition: Excellent (see images).
Purchased before the pandemic eliminated my Architectural & Interior Design clients.

Do not confuse this lens with the Tokina 20-35 2.8 AT-X PRO 600g which sells for four times at much and is in the same league as the AF 20-35 2.8D Nikkor which weighs ~ 590g

This Tokina AF 235 (20-35mm f/3.5-4.5) competes favorably in value with both the AF 20-35 2.8D Nikkor and the Tokina 20-35 2.8 AT-X PRO especially that both are now in high demand by "Street Photographers" which has pushed their price up (currently selling for ~ $475 at KEH EX+ condition or $269 at mpb in good condition).

The lens I'm offering here will allow you to "test the waters" in the Architectural & Interior Design paradigm. It's a "niche" optic that can generate a revenue stream for those who excel in "product" imagery. Especially in major markets locals.

As for "Street" photography?
Pretty much a relic of another era with questionable current commercial potential.
However a "Street" paradigm is often found associated with Lifestyle Fashion Editorials (especially B&W renderings).
Good to have in your book if you are into shooting fashion stories.

Please consider making this unique wide to ultra-wide zoom a home...
PM me for more details... thanks!

As usual Thomas, your posts in this section are complete, and very informational. If I had the need, I would not hesitate to buy from you. Thank you for your honesty.

Well, this is my first endeavor to sell camera equipment. The camera has a whopping 1218 exposures on it. Not a mark on it. When I clicked to see what their new quote was I waiting over 8 minutes and nothing popped up. I sent them a message about it. I'm sure I'll hear something from them on Monday. But it I would have liked it to have gone smoother.

You could try KEH. I have sold to them as well. They rate very conservatively. I listed something like new and once they inspected the body, they rated it excellent plus, for a difference of about $17, if I recall. You can access them on-line. I usually check out both before I send to one or the other.

They told me to click on an ICON to find out the new price and that it would "take a Sec" I waited 8 minutes. and no requote. I'm NOT impressed. They quote you a high price just to get you to send it. They probably figure you'll take anything rather than get it back.

Sorry you had this experience. I have sold to them over 10 times and never had that happen (“They probably figure you’ll take anything rather that get it back,”). Every quote they have given me prior to sending in my equipment has been met. Only one item was returned because they decided they were not interested in purchasing it, and for which I received no up front quote, and it was promptly returned at their expense. My purchase experiences have likewise been excellent.

The good news is that there are other outlets for purchasing used equipment: right here on UHH’s classified section, KEH, Roberts Used Photo Pro, B&H, and Adorama. Only one of those I will never trade to again, and that is Adorama. In my case, they quoted one number over the phone and then discounted that after about three weeks of waiting by over 30%. When I asked to have the gear sent back they started increasing the price until they offered what they told me they would offer originally. I am sure there are many happy customers of Adorama, just like MPB. And then some no so happy ones, which can happen anywhere.

Jerry, one of the first Z lenses I bought after the 50mm 1.8 was the Z 24-200, which meets my needs perfectly. I am not a professional or extremely talented amateur. What I have found is on the occasions that I get subpar results, I was the one responsible for a poor selection of settings. I think mine is a keeper. When I owned my D7200, it had an 18-200mm (2nd generation) on it 95% of the time, and there were many who considered that lens just OK. Whatever meets your needs. Be happy, shoot often.

I ordered a used Z6 II from MPB on Friday night, and I received it yesterday. Except for the way the twist-tie was twisted onto the power cord, I would have thought it was new. I charged the battery, but that's as far as I've gotten. I'm finishing another project. More later. (I don't have even one Z FX lens. )

Congratulations Jerry. This, plus your Zfc is sure to create excitement, in the next few weeks. If you have any interest, I am looking to sell a like new Z 24-70 f/4 lens that was part of a kit I purchased when I got my Z6 a few years ago. It has seen very little use. I will let it go for $400. net of any paypal charges. I will accept a check and ship it after the check clears. I can send pictures if you are interested. Shipping included in the price. PM me if interested.

Did you lose something when AutoFocus replaced manual focus?
Did you lose something when digital replaced film?
Did you lose something when aperture priority replaced shutter priority?
Did you lose something when lenses were enabled with stabilization?

Excellent points!

What camera would you buy? Both cameras are simular in both specs and price point, does a camera have an advantage with a dedicated shutter speed setting dial?.......thanks in advance.

Nikon USA has a sale of refurbished units going on right now. If you can, this may be the time to buy.

For me, the water towers (there are between 15,000 and 17,000 of them!) in NYC are iconic.
Since childhood, when we would go to NYC to see my grandparents, I would notice them. This week, I got to shoot some images from a boat and from hotel windows. I chose to process them as B&W and shot them in the midday sun. Here are a few. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Great photos.

Adorama contacted me via email about purchasing used equipment. I was willing to sell then a Hasselblad H3D II 39mp kit. I had purchased the body, prizim, and back from them a couple of years ago for $3495 . I had added a 80mm lens, Imagebank, extra batteries, AC power adapter and a zero halibuton case. i have shot less than 500 images with this camera since purchase. There offer was a $1000 for the whole enchilada. The lens alone is going for 800-1100 on ebay. I understand they have to make a profit but this is kind of excessive, other photogs at UH I'm sure have used them, are yall ok with taking this kind of beating and is this standard procedure from the used equipment buyers?
Adorama contacted me via email about purchasing us... (show quote)

My solo experience trading to Adorama was not the best. They quoted me one number up from, then after four weeks in their shop for “evaluation” quilted me substantially less. I told them to send back the equipment. Then they changed their tune and increased their quote back to almost their original quote pre inspection. I never even attempted to sell them anything since that time about 5 or 6 years ago. I deal exclusively with MPB or KEH, both of which I have been very satisfied in my dealings.
