So that's your secret ... always grab some fresh-baked pastries before going on a shoot. Seems to work.

Like it! You sure captured the flavor of the place ... except for that tree. Didn't I see it on Wizard of Oz?

As you all may remember I was offered a D850 with 11K shots for $2500. Many though this was too much for a used D850 so I passed as the guy would not budge on price. Yesterday found a listing for a Nikon D850 with 926 shots in new condition. No box or manuals but everything else and 2 batteries. Wanted $2300 but got him down to $1950. Serial number is 3081152 which would indicate a US model. Just have to drive 200 miles to Grand Raipids, MI to pick it up as he will not ship.

Less than 1000 shots taken? Deal! Big time. Best of luck.

This old soldier has been threatening to fall down completely for years... but somehow it remains standing. This is a shot from the east side of the barn - I have previously posted images of the structure from the west side, but this is a different look and gives a more graphic feeling of decline, IMO. In Somers, Montana, near the shores of Flathead Lake. Enjoy, and any critiques and suggestions are welcomed. Best viewed in Download... Keep clicking, mates!

This "old soldier" views your old soldier as a kindred spirit. Nicely captured, Tommy.

Nice work, Allan. I'd have liked to see Pfalzgrafenstein Castle with more of a background to it. As I recall, there is another castle on the hill overlooking the island.

As clocks go, this one is "ASTRONOMICAL". Nice shots, Joe. They know stained glass in Germany.

Still looks good at 9 AM. And no tourists sitting on top of it, like on my last visit.

So "gnarly" means more than just "rough conditions" in surfing. Aged trees with a lot of character, kind like some photographers I could name.

You sure captured some pretty countryside, Mark. Each view a thing of beauty. Re: #4, you know that from your location for the shot it looks like Ganter Bridge wasn't "completed in 1980" or even at all. Those crazy Swiss, hanging a sharp left out of the blue.

Almost always shoot in Aperture Priority. As for format, DSLRs are all set for NEF (RAW) and Jpeg Fine. So, why manual?

Works great.
First all Canon made DSLR and worked great with my EF 100mm f2.8 L IS macro including IS.
In excellent condition.
Originally sold for $3,000, WOW!

Use it in good health and make some magic.
