Nice shot of the ice bridge under the Rainbow Bridge in NF!

Hello,
Thank you. This was our (my wife and I) first visit to your city. We had a great time. Would go back to visit in a heartbeat. The locals that we met were awesome. East coast meets west coast. lol We had some interesting conversations.
Have a great day.

John

Thank you.
Scottsdale and Bandon, two of my favorite places. I spend a lot of time near you in Mesa. Bandon, the banana belt of Oregon.

My favorite is No. 1. I don't know where it is, but it has a mystical, magical, medieval air about it.

Hello, I agree with you. The (St. John's Bridge) in Portland, Oregon is one of my favorite bridges to photograph. Built in 1931 it crosses the Columbia river and stands 400' above the water. Locals call it the Grand Old Lady.

Thank you. How fun. It looks like you have done a bit of traveling. Even have one from my home state in Oregon. Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks for the explanation. Seems that the French obsession with love borders on inSeineity.

Thank you. My city of Portland has a variety of bridges. Engineering schools have used PDX's bridges as teaching tools or examples.

A very nice portfolio! Perhaps you could unlock the connection of #4?

Good morning Ravmouth.
I was curious if anyone would ask about the locks? These were only a few of the locks on the Pont des Arts Bridge in Paris. It was estimated a few years back there were over 700,000 locks on the bridge. Around 45 ton. In 2015 most of the locks were removed due to the damage it was causing. But they came back.
The locks are attached to the bridge and the keys thrown into the Seine River. This is said to be a gesture of love. Now the city has a "No Love Locks" campaign going on. It is a pedestrian bridge that has become a safety hazard.

Thank you Trader John. My wife is from the SF area. We spend a lot of time there. It is a great area for photography.
