Okay, so I AM a little dense and maybe I'm fighting the problem but when I Google (or Amazon) the AIM Red Dot Sight I get a very wide array of choices and prices. All I want is a simple way to track BIFs.
As for the Weaver Adaptor... is that what is going to slide into my flash slot so I can mount the Sight?
Help please.... where do I order and what model am I best likely to get acceptable (meaning great) shots with.

OK... Needed accessory but where do you buy it, how much does it cost and is fixing it to any camera a simple operation or do you, as you said, have to knock it apart and the glue it back together. If that's true then I assume it was made for some other use. explain please.
Your answers are important because I shoot a LOT of BIF's and I already have the rifle stock accessory.... it's great.

Recently I bought a lollipop as a prop. I shot a model holding it in several different poses and positions and when I viewed them I was impressed enough to dream up a plan to ask the owner to incorporated some more into his advertising. I'm not including as picture because the shot itself is not germaine to my question. If I supply him with 8 X 10's what should I ask. If I sell him a disk and keep the rights what should I ask for say twenty shots... or how much a scene on the disk. I don't want to get into the print business but I see possibilities for the plan that I want this to maybe be an ongoing source of income, This is a fairly small hometown operation but through diligence they have opened fifty franchised stores. It is basically a candy and soda shop with memorabilia and I would pose the model(s) with their products without the names showing. I'm a contributor to several stock companies but I think this is too good to settle for pennies per picture. This could be my ticket out of the ghetto. Since they cater to a younger crowd I will shoot the model(s) in bathing suits and athletic clothing. Any pricing advice or general info on this plan would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Masks won't cut it. I use them on my models a lot and they only hide a small portion of the head.... hair, eyes, nose, smile or lack of,ears, neck, shoulders, torso, stomach legs.... all aid in identification. She has to make up her mind how much she really wants to risk by being a model. And then there's the competition.... there are thousands of beautiful women out there.... look at Model Mayhem which is only a small slice of the pie. Is she doing it for the money... or what? All important questions.

I was offended thirty seven times... in spite of the warning... and later today I plan on being offended again for as many times as I can. Seriously. the nude body is a thing of beauty and if photographed in certain ways not even her boy friend or husband would recognize her. She can point out to the photog that she want's to retain her privacy. A good photographer will work with her.

There are No bad cameras... only bad photographers.... wow.....that should stir the hive a bit. On the seriojus side... I have owned seven Canons (and several Sony's)Seriously though, the only problems I have encountered is a circuit boars had to be replaced in my 5D MkII. It is over 5 years old and I shoot approximately a thousand shots a week. I'm a stock photographer with about 3400 pix in my portfolios and about half as many rejects. If this was a car or an appliance I would have had to replace it long ago. Talk to some pros in your area and see what they shoot with as guidance... then spend what you feel comfortable with and what meets your needs. Good luck

Being a stock photographer has limited rewards.... the pay is less than good and we seldom see the final destination of our photos but this morning when I opened the Hog Page there was a banner for iStock featuring a model that I shot several weeks ago. Naturally I sent it to the model... she was a first time shoot... and it bolstered her morale fantastically. She was the pretty blond with the straw hat and orange hat band. Thanks Mister Head Hog

I want to shoot a series of film noir style pictures, I know what it looks like and I can handle the black and white but I'm hoping one of my fellow Hawgs can steer me I in the right direction for lighting and it's placement. I have the model and I'm shooting in my studio and I have backdrops and props. Just want to get that Alan Ladd,Veronica Lake look. Shooting stills only with a Canon 5DMII.... Help please.

Since Ranger has been mentioned so many times in this thread I have a question about it. I know it can control your camera and sends an image to an iPad etc; but is the shot also saved on the CF or do I have to transfer t from the pad to my PC

Does anyone have a history with the above speedlight. I shoot with a Canon 5DMkII and I am told they are compatible. My 580 is acting up and I want a cheap reserve
Thanks in advance
