I don't understand. Do they have some way to shop, by boat maybe? Or do they have to use that walkway to a car or bus. Are they inhabited? Good shots of an interesting place.

Eleanor, welcome, excellent image of the frog. Enjoy the journey.
Thank you. I think I'm at least learning how to do this part.
I shall try. Could use some inspiration these days!

Been out of the loop for awhile and didn't know, or didn't think about all that stuff being on utube. THANK YOU!
Some of my favorite kinds of shots. Gorgeous.
Glad to meet you. Don't know why more people don't use Olympus. The fact that they also make medical and scientific lenses tipped the scale for me.

Not familiar with the cameras but your pictures are beautiful. Last time I was there, with a group of school kids, they wouldn't let me shoot inside. Don't know why.
Thank you. That little guy sat there staring at me while I set up a tripod. Love the animals.
Been reading posts, glad to see at least one Olympus shooter here. Interesting group of folks. First camera at 12 - fell in love. Fooled around with photography while life played out and got serious at 58 when I had time for me. Bought a Minolta and graduated from the New York Institute of Photography course in 2001. Never too old to learn! They gave me assignments and critiqued my work. Great course. Still refer to the books once in a while. A couple of years later digital came along, the Minolta retired, and after much deliberation I chose an Olympus Evolt 300 after the price went down a couple of hundred. Lenses were affordable, too. Loved the fact that the lens numbers doubled (film vs digital). I could never have afforded to do with film what I have with digital. Ended up in a gallery and learned to do my own printing, matting, and framing. Gave that up when the "big boys" went to canvas and metal. Didn't want to do prep work on canvas. Also shot pictures for a friends crocheting book, "Crochet 101". I enjoy volunteering my services now. Did photography for Free Reign last year - horses helping people heal. Did 5x7 portraits of the kids on the horses and they loved them. Happy work!

When I belonged to a riding club, horses, 20 years ago, I learned to shoot with both eyes open. Saved my skin!
