Thanks for showing us the more pleasant traditions of Spain. Something that some of us wouldn't have the opportunity of seeing. Thanks for sharing your photos with us.
I agree with you, but many don't.
I personally will give up on this one. I don't want to be seen as interfering, as it may have been implied.
Thanks for being in touch.
OK. WHAT'S WORK IN ONE COUNTRY DOESN'T NECESSARILY WORK IN ANOTHER.
I GIVE UP ON THIS ONE.
Pass laws that anyone who owns a gun should be licensed, but not to those who use a gun for general use i.e., personal use.
Thanks Steve. Yes I realise that not everyone owns a gun.
Something has to change though. I don't know what is going to make your government realise that change is needed, perhaps a mass demonstration might just make the government take notice.
Thanks for your response Grandmadeb.
Why not, I be your friend too. I assume that you too is a grandma, so from one grandma to another we will be friends.
We will set an example to all those who for some unknown reason has forgotten how to be friendly.
Thanks Stevie for your views.
What can I say. I didn't mean to offend anyone, but we don't still use swords and I do know that not everyone does carry a gun in the USA.
The only way that you are going to have change is by a democratic vote and not the views of the likes of us.
Change your gun laws. I know that this is not going to be very popular, but just look at the statistics of those countries where everyone don't carry guns and learn from them.
Thank you David. I will bear that in mind and "buck up the courage to ask" when I next have a question.

Indeed. :) :)
I am an amateur photographer and stumbled across this site and thought how wonderful, just what I wanted. I have posted a few questions and got some answers and I am pleased to say that I am now friends with a wonderful man that I have met on your site.
What I really want to say is that I have been put off using the site because of some of the unfavourable comments. I agree with SB. No one has to make a comment and being unpleasant isn't a good virtue. Some of us are unfamiliar with how the site works and may ask a question that has already been answered, so just bear a thought for people like us.
I kind thoughts goes out to Deb. Time is a healer.
Sorry, I forget to say thank you. I have made a note of what you suggest and will have a go.
Thanks for your help. I will have a go and hopefully will be able to post one of my photos. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
I am out on Thursday with our local U3A Photographic Group in one of our local parks, so I will take pictures of trees. I will use my wide lens AF, F22 and my camera is set at auto ISO AND I WILL USE MY TRIPOD. Have you anything else to add to that would be appreciated.
I will explain to those who wonder what a U3A. It stands for University of the Third age and is for those over 50 who forms groups and learn from each other.
Thanks for sharing your photograph. That is exactly what I am looking for in my photographs. You can really see the outlines of the leaves. That is what I mean by making the photo pop. My term for being very sharp.
Sorry, I was away from home for a week, but it wasn't always convenient to use my laptop to get into my computer. Nosey boyfriend. I don't always take his advice regarding photography as we are in our senior years he hasn't moved on in technology as much as he should.
