Actually taken from the main highway but not too far from where you are talking about.
Yes I see it better now after looking again , its right after you go up the hill on Bee line Hyw after the 4 peaks and Sugarloaf Mountain Upper Sycamore Creek turnoff. I grew up in Tempe and know this Area very well. I used to Hunt and Fish all over this area with my father, to many people there now so moved to Last Frontier Country , Alaska
I see Sugarloaf Mountain there, you must be on 4 Peaks Road in #3 pic
Horned owl sitting in front of my Cabin all day long until evening.
The Denali Road and the Denali Highway are two different roads
The Denali road is only paved for 12 or so miles in, the rest is gravel. There was a land slide on it this year and was closed somewhere in past 30 mile. Havent heard whats going on with it yet. I would check on that before going there in summer and expecting to take bus all the way in. The Denali Highway from Cantwell to Paxon is a great scenic drive but long and rough and definitly must be prepared for that drive. They let you drive in to 30 mile on the Denali road in the spring when they have the road plowed out that far, but thats all the farther they let you in. 30 mile in is Tetlinika Campground.

Animals out to pasture?
There in the Tree Cover where shady , this is summer pic , so they are all hot probably. You can barely see some Caribou in the first Pic lower left hand corner in the shade.

Nice shots for sure. I don't know if you are kidding or not, do they really farm (ranch?) Caribou and Musk Oxen? For profit?
This is the Large Animal Research Farm here in Fairbanks on Yankovich Road, the University has another i believe. They make some money for letting public come in and they have tours.
