Spent a week in Cozumel back in the early 90's. Flew into Chichen Itza for the afternoon. Your post is a wonderful reminder of that visit. Your first image is great. A few years later we took a bus tour from Playa del Carmen to Coba and Tulum. Not as powerful as Chichen Itza but worth a visit also. Thanks, John

Any opinion about business with KEH ? , MBP?
I have some expensive lens for sale : Nikon Nikkor 70-200 mm f 2.8 ED VR ll, before I'm send my lens maybe someone give me opinion - can I trust them ?
Bought a D500 Nikon Reconditioned from Adorama and a 12-24mm f4 from KEH. Had problems with the exposure. Nikon service was useless... Since body and lens was new to me I bought another 12-24 from KEH and discovered the body was at fault returned it with no issues and bought new 500 from B&H, returned the extra lens to KEH after the 30 day trial period with no costs to me. Within the last 2 months I sold a D80, the kit lens and 2 other AFS lens. I did try to sell a couple of those lens on Ebay and after 2 weeks decided to just sell them outright to MBP. Adorama gave me a price unseen and MBP did also. MPB was $95. more. Sent equipment to MPB in postage paid box. After they inspected equipment they agreed to the price they gave me and deposited the money in my account in a couple of days. Shortly after the sale I went on to MPB website and looked for my equipment and found that they gave me about 65% of what the were asking on their website. I can live with that.

About a month ago I sold 2 nikon consumer FF lens and one of my D80's with a kit lens. I got a price from B&H and Adorama. They gave prices by the piece. Both these Brick and morters were about 50% of there retail value. MPB gave me a price of about 65% of value and sent me a prepaid Fedex label. After they received the equipment they agreeded with the online quote (sight on seen) and deposited the amount into my acount. I did try selling some of the equipment on eBay but aftr a couple of weeks with no bites just sold them to Mpb to get them off my shelf. All is good. John

I have a question about shipping charges on used camera gear.I just purchased a used Nikon lens & was charged $11.25 for shipping from Adorama. I live in Ohio.I don’t remember being charged shipping before. The Nikon lens was over $800.00,I would think that would warrant free shipping,am I wrong? I was told because it was used I would be charged shipping because it wouln’t Be fair to the seller!
About a month or so ago I bought a used Nikon 24-120mm f4 cost was $505.00 plus shipping. When I asked Manny if that doesnt come with free shipping they immediatly lowered the price of the lens by the shipping amount. Happy with the lens.... I was surprised they didn't charge me tax either.

Just out of curiosity, do many of you use back button focus, and if so, what do you liked or dislike about the feature?
Yes BBF is set up on all my Nikon bodys. for all the reasons mentioned above. Small remembering curve but once you are use to it........

Rudolph would probable win. DWTS is a popularity contest with home viewers voting there favorite star, regardless of there ability with better dancers going by the way side. Who doesn't love Rudolph?
