I just did some searches on these new printers and I am impressed. It is still looking like an expensive proposition to make good quality color prints on site.
Pretty hard to compete when a real photo print at say walmart is .09 and a 1 hour is .19 cents. And they don't wilt if water gets on them.
The only valid argument I can see for a digital lens is multicoating the rear element. All lenses are designed for a given image circle and as long is it can cover the film or sensor and focus it will work. john
Have had photography for a hobby almost all my life, was born in '42. Was never satisfied with digital before. I just bought a micro four thirds body and think this may be a keeper. At least I can use my old lenses/ john
