Frankly, I like it the way it is. The haze adds something to it. Like reality.
I'm thinking of buying a Pentax F1. I'm looking for opinions? I've been a Pentax person since high school. Have lenses out the ass so it's hard to change. Comments?
JHS
Theoretically!! But don't be too hard on Hilleary--I've know lots of high level agency officials who have taken classified material home. Not recommended by me but it's done.
That's a lifestyle poly for the agency. Don't know about FBI. Science or engineering degree helps a lot depending on what position you're interested in. With a BS, or engineering degree, you can probably start at a GS12, 13, or 14.
I don't need to watch any of it. The man has no experience in government, is a bombastic idiot, ideologue, full of screwy ideas that have no way of working in the real world, etc. I can't think of anyone who would be worse than Obama but Trump.
I was going to make a comment to this string but when I got to then end of it, I said F--- it. It's not worth it. I'm thinking about just quiting UHH.
Doesn't sound like he knew what he was doing either. Forget it and don't worry about it.
It would be nice if we didn't reply in a specific camera format--no Nikon, Canon, etc. I'm a Pentax guy and I don't recognize all this other BS.
Here is the simplest deal: if your camera has two cards or is capable of saving in two formats w/ one push of the shutter release: save one as JPEG, one as RAW. RAW is "uncompressed", in quotes because it is compressed according to the camera manufacturers spec's. It is fundamentally lossless in terms of Image Quality. JPEG in any quality level looses something although not generally noticeable to the eye (which is the final arbiter). So if you have the choice, shoot a RAW and a JPEG (at some IQ level) at the same time.
I forgot. A 200mm is probably not going to cut it. I had a 500mm with a 2X extender. Used both a lot.
I was there a couple of years ago in Feb. Didn't have a problem with fogging but a couple of suggestions: a tripod is mandatory. Too many long shots to catch wolves in Lamar Valley. Also, ND filters or a polarizing filter come in handy for increasing depth of field in the bright sun and snow. To avoid buying multiple sets of filters for different diameter lenses you might think about getting adapter rings for the smaller diameter lenses and buy the largest diameter that you have a lens for. Good luck and enjoy. You'll freeze your butt off but the photography is grand.
I like to think about the universe and the Milky Way in which we reside, but this is getting too deep.
I agree w/ Searcher. Who hasn't done something dumb in the darkroom?
I thought I had one but I was thinking of my mother's Agfa but I had to dig through all her old Kodak bellows cameras to find it!!
