Good to see you back. I've always enjoyed seeing your photos and these are terrific. You really out did yourself. As they say "keep shooting".

These are awesome available light photos. I take a lot of similar photos here in my community on a much smaller scale when we have events at our clubhouse. What camera/lens combo did you use and at what settings? Very clear and sharp images.

Despite Nikon saying they fixed the oil spot issue on the sensor for the D610....not so much. I had one that I bought at a brick and mortar store and a good thing I did. They were great in helping when I had it back to them three times in six or seven months with oil spots appearing on the sensor. I agreed with the store manager, let's send it back to Nikon....came back clean for another two or three months. I finally gave up and traded it off for a D750. I've never been happier with a camera. I hope the step up in price isn't too much for you, but I'd recommend passing on the D610. When the D610 was clean it took great photos, but I was one of the groups of owners with constant oil spots on the sensor. Good Luck on your choice

Sometimes we think we are saving money by buy refurbished or generic brands and in the long run we wasted more time than if we'd brought the original manufacture's brand. Lesson learn and I hope other take heed to your warning. By the way we had plenty of rain where I live in Beaumont, CA. Lots of lightening and thunder. Where in So Cal. are you located? and by the way thanks for the warning.

I'm using Photoshop CC, but if my poor memory is correct, in PS CS6 there is a "spot healing brush" that should be able to fix each blemish. By the way, there are more spots than just the "staple" looking spot...those are dust spots too. I'm sure there are folks on this site that can tell how to do it globally (on all the photos at once), but I'm not smart enough for that....but one photo at a time, the spot healing brush should do the trick. As far as cleaning the sensor, I've never personally done it myself, but I have watched mine being cleaned many times and it looks easy enough, but if it were me and my expensive camera....I'd take it to a pro....I lack the confidence in myself that I'd do something wrong and screw up my sensor, so a getting a pro to do it is my suggestion. Many folks on here may have other ideas. Good luck.

I haven't tried this site on the east coast, but did use it a bit while in Hawaii last month and on other vacations in areas that I'm not familiar with....you simply put in the city, state and zip code or other identifying info as to where you are and it brings up lots of suggested things to shoot. The site is called "shot hot spots" and the web address is https://www.shothotspot.com/
Have fun on your trip.

I should have mentioned, try using "wetransfer.com". It's free for the sender and the recipient. However, it does have a limit of 2gig at a time. Good luck

That is very strange....I just sent my son four photos using Picasa via outlook...not sure if that makes any difference. I wish I had a magic fix for you

The third photo with the flathead Ford motor brings back some memories as a teen going with my buddy to a junkyard and pulling some milled heads off a wrecked Ford that someone had junked for his 53 Ford....once we put the newly acquired heads on his car they leaked like a sieve....held no compression. Of course, something you buy at a junkyard is "as is". Boy did we feel ripped off? And another fine set by the way.
