Talk about a ham! Just got the girl, found the light and gave you his "good" side.

The buck did stop there.

Nice shot

Yeah he was quite the ham, he was really strutting his stuff before stopping and striking his pose. Thanks seeSaw

I caught this buck after several fights. Unfortunately the fights were a long distance away in a grove of trees. After his encounters, he ran within 40 yards of me and posed as I snapped this shot.

To BGenie,
Strange how that works, my aunt has told me the very same thing. If you can't say something nice, to not say anything at all.
Apparently you have not learned to take that advice or ever heard of it.

I posted my photos as i saw fit, Not as you see fit.
This forum thread was for fun,not for Criticism as you seem to think is fitting.
It shows your mentality or lack of it.
We seem to have just to many "experts" as of late and that needs to end.

Marilyn, I sent this thread to a friend of mine yesterday informing him of this being a great place to see really good images. I bragged how G-rated it was and that its for all ages. As far as BGenie's remarks, I'm going to keep my Christian principles intact and not commit. I loved you images, good job.
End of discussion !

#1,2,&4 I'd have to say 'no' to. NEVER cut people or animals off at the knees or feet
#3 & 4 are 'no's, because who wants to look at an animals' rear-end?
#5 is good, nice eye-shine
#6 & 8 are good but you need to remember your rule of thirds, the centering makes them less interesting.
#7 is a 'no' you can't see his face and it's blurry

Just because you sign it and put a fancy frame on it, does not make it a good photo. Get rid of the 'bling' and let your photos stand and speak for themselves.

If you feel the need to rip someone's photos, then do it in the photo analysis portion of the forum where critique is supposed to be given. In the photo gallery section, photos are to be for forum members viewing enjoyment, or in your case not, but scathing comments are out of place. Your momma obviously never told you, "if you don't have something nice to say, then say nothing at all!"

I think you need to take your own mamas advice.
I haven't been in this forum for 6 months and everything has been moved around... I didn't know that admin put in a "I suck, but please kiss my ass anyway" section.

Quite an unusual occurrence, I made this image last month. As I was told, the dust came from Oklahoma and it really impacted the tourist wanting to see the fall colors.

Tourists may not have been thrilled, but your shot is striking. I like the graduation of fading colors.

Thanks Carly, I did make others right at sunset, but the dust was really thick and visability was much lower.

Brian, this was close to sunset, the ones I shot at sunset were totally dust. Thought this was the better of the group. Thanks for looking...
