Welcome to Day 184 :) Today it's all about Rust and Corrosion. It shouldn't be too tough to find this stuff all over the place. Here are a few examples to get us started.
I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

All from recent trip to Trolley Museum in Branford,Ct. They have been working on all the old parts to make new old ones. What an undertaking..Lots of fun to ride through the salt meadows on the old line!

Wow, GRRRREAT selection ! The dashboard alien is outstanding !! Here's a plea from the management of Cheetal motel, Delhi-Dehra Dun road.

Oh my gosh Subroto - that is too funny.... My folks used to tell us the story about how they furnished the flatware for their first apartment during WWII.. they would take one piece at a time when they went out to eat.!!! Good thing there was just the two of them...

Hahahaha, that just cracked me up, Teri ! Ok, back to brass tacks...here's my favourite rusty (TRUSTY ?!) photo :-)

I forgot I had these. We had traveled to Texas several times and stood in the same motel every time we went. T love this scene and never had a camera until this trip. A bit over exposed but I am still learning. Photography is harder then most people think. That is why I like UHH because most of you know what it is like to start out. I played around with the HDRish tool in picasa 3 and this is the final result.

This site is addicting!

You got that right jfant. I swore I'll never "Face up" on face book, and I'll never tweet on twitter, but look at me and the rest of us here in the "Ugly Hedge Hog". It's great stuff. Just wish they would put in a rule that if you're going to make a comment you need to post a photo. I'll start it.

Gosh so many rusty treasures, you guys know how to find the rust. You would think Seattle would have lots of rust with the rain, it's 68 degrees here today.

Here are a few i took today.

Hello everyone! Hope your 2nd day of July has treated all of you well??.....
I am so far enjoying this constituted method sharing my photos with all of you, most of my pics are viewed with a biased eye so, having my view of things welcomed by other photog junkies is such a pleasure!

Great tools RR. I'm gonna have to dig into my photos from Dad's estate sale. He had a whole garage, barn, shed and basement full of rust.

Dad's sale meant spending a week getting things ready and properly displayed.
1. Rusty trailer used to show all manner of rusty tool and tool box and other rusty stuff. I probably slid down the cellar mound on that grain scoop with the broken handle in the winter.
2. This is where that stuff came from.
3. There was yard art galore on display. some even sold
4. Brother in law, a city boy, kept asking what do you suppose this was for. I knew most of the answers, but still wondered why it was still here.
5. Where's the rust here? Milk can lid, barrel heater, and stains on my britches.
6. As clean as the garage looks compared to 2. above there is still some rusty stuff in here.

Rufe, this is real Missouri Rust.
