Okay, now I'm really confused. Does the lens go through the orifice?

It's in the link.
Supposed to work with pop-up or speedlight.
I DIY’d one about 10 years ago using a milk carton to see if it would work for intra-oral photography.
Simple, but pretty effective.

Hi all, I had purchased a diffuser that has an elastic hole in it that fits over the end of the lens to use for macro photography. I purchased it after seeing it on this forum and it worked great for me. I went to use it today and it no longer is attached to my camera bag. Dang! I was wondering if anyone uses this type of diffuser and where you bought it. I can't remember where I purchased mine and what brand it was, but I was hoping to buy another one and would like some recommendations. Thanks.

Like THIS one?

I'd be curious to see your results.
Post some of your old examples.

I believe this might have been the one where my sister was able to shoot a roll, put the cassette in her pocket, and a later point was able to reinsert it in reverse and end up with two landscapes (one upside down) on each picture.

Interesting thought, but I don't think you could put the cartridge in upside down or keep it from exposing the film when taken out since there was no dark slide.
Note: the sides are different sizes.
I did see where people can reload the cartridge with 35mm film at THIS SITE.

Great thread! My first "real" camera was this Minolta Autopak 700 that took 126 cartridges. Square format. I got a lot of great slides on Kodachrome 64. Next was a Minolta SRT-101 that I wish I still had. Had the 50mm Rokkor and a 80-200mm Kiron tele. I think the SRT-101 was one of the nicest handling cameras I've ever held.

That Minolta is an interesting camera!
Coupled rangefinder.

I knew Kodak had some fancier cameras , including SLR, that used 126 film, but didn’t know Minolta had some

He says he's not finding pix of anything similar. That rules out the Pen series.

Here's a coupla unusual half frame 35s (Canon and Yashika, attached below).

I reeeeally loved half frame, but film is history, so I switched to quarter frame digital (Lumix, 3rd pic below).

Yes, I remember a friend had a Canon “Dial 35” when I was in the Philippines.

Back in 68 when I was in Thailand, I had a 35 mm half frame. I've looked everywhere on the net and can not find a photo that reminds me of it. So long ago I don't remember what it looked like either.

Olympus made a lot of them.
And now it's micro 4/3rds....

I bet the cameras and that hair are gone now.

Hair still there, but it’s (much) lighter than 18% grey.
Wish I still had the Mamiya.
It was an early graduation gift from my parents.
I told them it would be the “last camera I’d ever need”
Not sure how many I’ve used since 1973.
The Topcon, not so much.

My first DLSR was a Topcon Auto 100. Can't remember what happened to it.

SLR….. mine was a Topcon Unirex and a Mamiya C-330 on my left hip.
The Unirex was a similar leaf shutter camera to your Auto 100 that used the same lenses.
I would never use a flash that way these days.

Are you asking about Neewer, the brand?
https://neewer.com/collections/monolight
Can’t comment on them.
I have a mix of Bowens and Godox.

Nope,
Seems like a lot are not interested in the opportunity to learn new things.
Just to post, and not always correct info.

I'm still using a D800 professionally.
While I'd like to have something newer, it does what I need it to do.
...Actually better.
My 85mm 1.4 Sigma won't work with the D810.
Firmware is too new.
4k activations on your D800 isn't even broken in yet!

You may have a few minutes to edit the title.
Look above your name in the first post.
