I shot these hand held. Camera settings were 1/200ss, f/20, ISO 200, manual flash at 1/4-1/2 power. Whenever possible I try to get as close to minimum working distance as I can. I hope this helps.

I went on a bug hunt with the macro lens yesterday at the Balboa Park rose garden. You never know what you might find there. Yesterday I found mostly flies.

Thank you, Dodie. I shot these with a Nikon Z9 which is focus shift capable, so the camera did all the work. All I had to do was program it and point it in the right direction.
