OP/TECH straps are great, and I've been using them on cameras for years. I have one serious complaint, though. The short straps that attach to the camera are too short. If they used maybe 3/4" more of the strap material, it would be so much easier to put them on and off. I just spent at least half an hour trying to remove a strap connector from a camera. I was able to remove the female end (finally), but there wasn't enough strap material to fit the male connector back through the loop.

I spent quite a while removing that little triangular piece of metal from the camera and then I had to remove the strap from that. I still have to remove the strap from the little plastic piece that was on the triangular piece. That still requires feeding the connector back through the loop, though. I'd rather not cut the strap and have to buy a new one. Of course, when I'm done, I'll have to reinstall the tiny plastic and the triangular piece.

In the picture below, each small strap goes through the carry point on the camera. Then, that large connector has to go back through the loop - which is too small. If I have to cut this one, it will cost me $8.00 for a new one.

Jerry,

They have a swivel version. It's what I've been using for a few years now. Extremely easy to connect & disconnect.

I'm gonna miss you yelling "Mimi, c'mere" and "I wanna backed potato" (for 25 years).
It's OK that you couldn't say "baked".
Gonna miss sharing my peaches, grapes, bananas, green peas, green beans and cheerios with you.
I loved hearing you yell "Mimi". I knew the answer was supposed to be "What Kiwi?" but but I loved hearing you fuss at me when I just said "what?".
This is the first time in my life I have been without a pet and you were the last.

My heart hurts for your loss, and I feel your pain. We lost our last pet on October 20, 2020, and life has not been the same since.

... Pond across from my house.

I walked to the nest which was littered with broken shells. I looked around and spotted them on shore across the pond. Lighting was bad but you take what you can get. To my surprise, and others watching, they all came back and got back in the nest. No shots through the tall grass.

Adorable little balls of fluff, so who cares about the bad light? Thanks for putting a sile on my face over AM coffee.

I refer to them that way because I really intend to feed the birds, but they come in and eat, too. I agree that they pay me back by their amusing antics, but the word was intended to be alliterative.

Very cute critter. Funny you should call him a "freeloader". That's how my husband refers to the numerous birds, squirrels, and other friends we feed. I don't consider them to be freeloaders. They pay us with their amusing antics.

Don’t know if anyone else has gotten this message on their Z9. I got it when trying to use a Tamron 150-600 mm G2 lens (worked just fine on my D850). Called Nikon - they couldn’t really help me. I dug out my Tamron Tap-in console and updated the firmware (took several minutes) and it seemed to fix the problem. So if you have this combination and you’re getting an error - this should fix it.

Just as a piece of additional info in case anyone else has the same problem with this camera/lens combo, I had your same issue a little over a year ago (same camera/lens combo) & found out it was caused by the then-current Z9 firmware. Once Nikon updated the firmware & I installed it in the Z9, the problem was solved without my having to do anything with the lens firmware. I think that was back when Nikon Z9 fw was still in the 2.0 version range. Then all of a sudden, just a few weeks ago, the exact same issue popped up with the same lens/camera combo. Ironically, that happened again only after I installed the 5.0 fw update on the Z9. As far as I can tell, I have the most current firmware on the Tamron 150-600 G2. The lens is going in to Tamron today for a back-focusing problem and they will be also be checking to make sure the firmware on the lens is up-to-date.
I had NO issue whatever with the same lens on my D500.

IF, there are NO images currently on the card, the camera will recognize this and will not format cause there is no reason to.

That is incorrect information.
