Relax. It's the season for Biden stories. He'll be happy to tell you that he graduated top of his class....again. It must be something inherent to politicians and Democrats in particular.
Al Gore - I invented the internet!
Bill Clinton - I did not have sex with that woman - or it depends on what your definition of "is" is.

Well, Joe Biden has been lying to the American people for 50+ years. I doubt he is even aware that he does it anymore. It's like breathing for him, an autonomic nervous system function that operates without thinking. In his defense this is also referred to as the involuntary nervous system.Let's face it, ole Joey is about as sharp as a hard boiled egg.

It's more fundamental than that. Almost everyone that has worked with Trump in government will tell you he is a deranged recalcitrant unfit to be anywhere near real power. Biden has minders that he'll listen to, you know, like regular presidents.

I'm like light years younger than some of you old farts but I'm still old enough to have heard (and understood) the term "Presidential Timber".

Which of the three (Biden, Kennedy, or Trump) has achieved anything remotely Presidential?

Biden has been in DC for 50 years. He was a moron when he showed up. Been a racist, maybe a pedo, buddies with Epstien, left the Senate a poor man, and what exactly was his hallmark achievement? I guess it was climbing out of his basement.

Trump used the hundreds of millions he inherited to build his fortune into Billions...or maybe that was just time doing that? Seems like he built an empire. If it wasn't him being smart, then he was at least smart enough to hire the right people. Sometimes that's enough, isn't it? As for POTUS? Honestly I give him decent grades considering that he a) never held office, b) definitely didn't have the backing of the "government machine" and c) had to contend with HRC and BO's FISA stink bombs as they left DC.

Kennedy has been a lawyer forever and obviously is acutely aware of his family's history with Washington DC. He's not stupid, can speak in a clear intelligent manner, and he can walk up and down stairs unassisted. There's parts of his campaign I like, and parts that sound like anarchy. I think if he had picked a more centrist running mate he'd probably be a shoe in (if he gets on the ballot).

THC, pot can be delivered right to one's door in Orang County, CA. Maybe when it is changed to Cat-3 one will be able to pay with a credit card. Right now, one must pay cash.

Teacher's need Unions to deal with stingy school boards. We nearly went on strike twice. After that, they caught on and the relationship improved.

Student Loans are hardly comparable to the money saved by the Uber rich when given Trump's huge tax breaks. Don't be distracted by the shiny bobbles.

Do the uber rich benefit unjustly from our tax system? Of course they do.

I'm just as concerned though about all these presidential giveaways...Ukraine? I think Kennedy has a point about Ukraine and that is that they will be required to become part of NATO which evidently translates to buying all NATO approved weaponry and accessories. But just who is that? Blackrock? Ratheon?

Why would I care whose bullets they buy? I'm not going to see a penny of that money but the gov't wants to jack up my taxes to give Ukraine this "loan" so Ukraine can buy from them.

And what happens if Russia takes over Ukraine? They'd get a few more "warm" water ports to ship and receive goods and some of the best farmland on the continent.

What do we get for our billions? Tax hikes, inflation, probably some sort of ongoing military conflict, a bottomless pit for US dollars to disappear, oh, and a thank you note.

Seems like a EU problem to me and it's time those cheap mofo's pony up.

But yes, certainly, please do, take the 'leg hairs' to November. It's a tired and lame 'waddabout' when the 5th Ave/Central Park rapes come up. "You're a winner!" Trump merch

Ya know what? You win. You can "yeah, but what about blah blah" to death. I hereby declare you the winner. Does that make you feel better? Trump is a jerk and Biden is a douche. So this election cycle is about who's the biggest loser?

Stupid enough to profile all Palistinians as Hamas. Surprised he’s not dumb enough to profile all US citizens as lefties due Biden being a Dem. Then again, maybe in his hatred he does.

Perhaps I didn't say it directly in my post but I'd be more than happy to reply to your comment above.

It wasn't that there was absolute belief in Hitler's cause of exterminating Jews. There just weren't enough people that could be bothered with saying no. Perhaps you can't see that. I'm certain that there are Palestinians that see the murders of Jews as wrong but just how many of them have taken a stand against Hamas? How many would dare?

***edit*** found this quote that sums it up

John Stuart Mill
“Let not any one pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm if he takes no part, and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing. He is not a good man who, without a protest, allows wrong to be committed in his name, and with the means which he helps to supply, because he will not trouble himself to use his mind on the subject.”

This is commonly summarized as

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” - Edmund Burke

Are they really abandoning Joe? Or are they playing politics like so many voters. It is a way of bringing one's issues to the forefront. (The Trump supporters don't seem to do this. They will do whatever the leader says.) I could be wrong, but it seems to work nowadays on many issues: abortion, student loans, middle-east, THC, unionism, etc.

So you are saying the the whiners on the left are bluffing? Of course they are!

Abortion? Underage?, Incest?, Medical Emergency?... those are all legitimate reasons in my book.

I'm an adult and forgot to take a pill and I don't like condoms? Seems like a copout/weak argument.

Then again, I don't have to have the procedure or live with the feelings that go with it. I am literally willing to let this be a women (not women in theory) only decision/vote.

Student loans - I don't care why anyone took the money, they still took it. They have to pay it back, every damned cent.

Middle East - it would be wonderful if we could stay out of it. The population numbers and the willingness to die in the name of a cause say otherwise.

THC? - I'm assuming you mean weed and it's byproducts. I see stores in Rhode Island. Saw them in California years ago. I'm going out on a limb here but I'd almost bet you could get it in the mail. I didn't realize this was a political issue now.

Unionism - I think it has had its day. There are lots of great things about Unions, fair wages, health coverage, holidays, job training, safety, etc. Unfortunately it doesn't reward those who excel and it is inclined to set the bar low all while keeping wages and benefits high. At the end of the day it is like having to navigate the government of your job while making the company less competitive in the global economy.

Perhaps you would like to tell us why we (taxpayers) need a teachers union. You all have college degrees. You could probably get a job doing something else. I witnessed firsthand the great "Math/Science Teacher" flight of the late 70's and early 80's to the tech revolution. The ones that were good at those jobs got paid well.

I don't believe in tenure. No one gets that in the free market and since that is where most of us are, I can't imagine why I'd want to fork over my tax dollars to support it.

Wow! Just WOW!

To listen to you guys here you'd think that the Muslims (there I said it, more about that soon) are poor innocent bystanders in all of this.

It turns out that there are approximately 1.9 Billion Muslims on the planet. They actually come in second to the number of Christians at 2.4 Billion. Just how many Jews are there worldwide? Any guesses?

16.8 Million. That's it. Of those 16.8 million approximately 7.9 million are here in North America and another 7.2 million in Israel, 1.3 million in all of Europe, leaving approximately 400,000 scattered around the rest of the planet. That last group wouldn't be able to populate a large city Like Boston, New York, Paris, London, etc.

As I mentioned earlier I did type the word "Muslims". Those of you that were quick to vent whatever it is that you have could not even bring yourselves to use that word. Not just one of you, but all of you. Now I'm not a psychiatrist or a mental health professional by any means. I'm an Engineer and as an engineer I do look for patterns and that one, my friends, jumps off the screen.

On the topic of religion, I myself am a non-practicing Catholic (Irish, Boston, need I say more?)

On the topic of genocide, well now, that's an interesting subject. Many believe that the Third Reich's systematic persecution and execution Jews was the first genocide. It wasn't. That honor goes to the Turkish (Muslims) exterminating the Armenians (Christians).

The origin of the term genocide and its codification in international law have their roots in the mass murder of Armenians in 1915–16. Lawyer Raphael Lemkin, the coiner of the word and later its champion at the United Nations, repeatedly stated that early exposure to newspaper stories about Ottoman crimes against Armenians was key to his beliefs about the need for legal protection of groups (a core element in the UN Genocide Convention of 1948).

Most of you probably do not know an Armenians. I do. There is a sizable group that relocated to the Boston area whose ancestors were able to flee persecution from Muslims. Frankly, the ones I met/know are some of the smartest people I have ever met. And they are a lovely people, but like the Jews, please don't ask me how to pronounce the names they give some foods.

So fast forward to today. In modern times (little over 100 years) we have seen 2 large scale genocides based on religion. One at the hand of Muslims and the other, Protestants. Israel is in a situation where literally one or two well placed nukes would effectively wipe them off the planet but there still would be a billion plus Muslims ready to fight. Why would they take prisoners at this point? Certainly the Muslims have no qualms about being a human bomb (see 9/11). Would you be so quick to turn the other cheek?

During the campaign speech, Biden, 77, described how children used to play with his blond leg hairs in the swimming pool while telling a story about his time working as a lifeguard.

“By the way, you know, I sit on the stand and it’d get hot. I got a lot of — I got hairy legs that turn blonde in the sun,” Biden said. “And the kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again.”

He concluded his tale by saying, “I love kids jumping on my lap.”

Don't even get started on Pedo Joe the Head sniffer. So many cringy moments captured for posterity.

I know plenty about what happened including those arsehole New Yorkers that fled NYC for their summer homes on the Cape. I was delighted to see that the Rhode Island troopers stopped them but unfortunately not until so many had gone through that over half of a full lot at my local grocery store was NY plates. Those NY arses descended like locusts and left us locals with nothing all because they were crapping themselves to escape New York. That's how much confidence they had in Cuomo.

The 'stable genius' politicized a national health crisis!! Who does that??

Well I'll give you a pass since you're down under but here?

I remember Trump babbling about sick Chinese in Seattle and every Democrat EVERYWHERE shouted fear mongering whilst they all went on parades.
They did it on both coasts.

Then they did a complete 180 and shut down the country except for essential services (Uber Eats, liquor stores, and any place that sold toilet paper)

Cuomo moved all the sick into old folks homes and medical facilities for the elderly. We all know how that went. Dr. Mengele would have been proud. Then it became policy for dozens of Governors including Massachusetts....because rounding people up and putting high risk populations in with the sick seemed like a whizbang idea.

I'll give it up for Joe Stumbles...he hid in his basement. Probably the smartest thing he ever did.

Now was Trump right about everything? Of course not. Neither was Fauci and that was literally his one job. As time goes on Fauci is looking more complicit in this whole thing and if Trump had won a second term I have no doubt he would have been investigated.

So where are we today?

Fauci is no longer at his post. Not in jail but we will take what we can get.
We know the vaccine didn't do sh!t.
Masks are about as effective as sugar pill to cure Cancer.
Trump hasn't been POTUS for 3 solid years where,
- costs have skyrocketed
- COVID outbreaks/strains continue
- the economy is circling the drain
- the petroleum reserves have been drained
- and we are printing a TRILLION dollars that we are going to give away to corrupt nations that will gladly take it off our hands.
