I'm going to offer the three microwaves for free on nextdoor.com.
This is what I do, offer my junk for free. Then somebody else can deal with getting rid of it.

I was in those same years, but from 1964. Why did you do the extra year?
So the Air Force would pay to send my wife and kid and household items and car (which I should have left there) back to my home.

All my cordless tools are the same brand so the half-dozen batteries I have will fit them all.

I was in the Air Force from 1963 to 1968. My second assignment was Hickam AFB in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was there from 1965 to 1968.

Iolani Palace. This was the state capitol building when I first arrived in Honolulu in 1965.

This is the new building that opened a couple years after I got to Hawaii.

How about all those Boeing B-17s that crashed and burned in the 1940s? It's a wonder that Boeing even survived into the 1950s.

The thing that bothers me about fishing and fishermen is the fishing line. The line gets snagged on bushes, rocks or whatever and the fishermen cut it and leave hundreds of feet of the crap laying around for the wild animals to come along and get tangled up in it. If they can't free themselves they can wind up starving to death.

I tend to hang out with older folks, and I've noticed something amusing. If something falls to the floor, people don't rush to pick it up. Like me, I bet they are asking themselves two questions: Do I really need that thing? If I bend down that far, will I be able to get back up?
That's why I have a grabber tool, keeps me from bending over and crawling around on the floor.

I thought that the Cone of Silence was a technology of Spy Organizations...
The trouble with this Cone of Silence is that you can still read lips like Hal did in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Understanding a lot of what is going on relies a bit on the events of the TV series (from Australia).
I guess I'll pass on the movie then.

Does anyone like BING?
Not here, I don't use BING. I'm not a fan of Bing Crosby either.

I realize this was addressed to Jerry but I clicked on it anyway. I hope you don't mind. I have also seen it before but didn't think of Jerry until kpmac mentioned it.

I record old movies from the local PBS station for later viewing. I really like the old silent movies. However, never cared for Charlie Chan.

BTW, did you know that Charlie Chan wasn't played by a Chinese actor. Yeah, I know you did.

That's where I'm seeing it. Probably was originally posted in the Photo Gallery section

What about the prefixes that went along with those dial phones. The prefix for my folk's phone was Ivanhoe, as in IV9-8294. Yes, I still remember that number from the '50s.
