The backgrounds . . . . they seem very busy - is it intentional? If it is, that's gutsy, because you can lose a viewer if you overstimulate them. My preference is quiet backgrounds, so the subject can be muted and still pop.

Under most cases I agree with you, a lot of things are not always possible, take the first image this is just a small section of a large flower head, so blurring any more than already applied is almost impossible. Ernie
