Last of the Summer Butterflies

The butterfly pavillion will close soon...there were not alot of brightly colored ones around now..and the flowers are starting to fade...but these lovely and delicate creatures were still out and about..

Hi jk
They are all beautifully exposed and composed. However I would like to see more zone of sharpness in the butterflies. You don't mention the aperture settings used, but I suspect they are large. The depth of field(zone of sharpness) is determined by the aperture size AND distance to the object. With close up shots, you are pretty close to the object and the zone of sharpness is very narrow so you can afford to use a small aperture to get the sharpness in the object AND still have an out of focus background.

I will look them up...some of them I took with the 105 macro fixed..which is alot harder and some with just my 55..
