Just some "General Chit-Chat".... (Warning, No names have been changed to protect the guilty.)
I watched an interesting video today, highlighting some history of the families and individuals who have influenced affairs in California and in our nation. It explains a lot....or at least it did to me.
I think you may find it interesting as well... Your comments are welcome.

Interesting video. It is Trump biased and therefore suspect. The biggest lie that was offered is that Trump received the majority of the popular vote. Not by a long shot. The popular vote gave Clinton a three million vote majority. Facts are facts. Shall we agree to use the SAME ones?
We are sooooo lucky to be living in Nevada.

Nothing wrong in keeping it in the family -- just the way it is done.
I would like to say I'm shocked - but I'm not!

I appreciate your opinion, exakta56, and support your right to express it. I am a bit confused by it, though.
I just went back and re-watched the video, listening carefully to every word. Trump was not mentioned in it anywhere, nor was any mention of the election results, or the votes. I am confused as to where that came from. I don't see how this could be characterized as Trump-biased.
Yes, facts are facts. And, sometimes the truth hurts.

And, I feel so lucky to be able to split my time between Florida and the mountains of western NC.

Is keeping it in the family, anything like incest? (Sorry, the devil made me ask that, JoAnne)

One could prepare a video like this for every state in the Union.

Ah, Infowars, the source of all my conspiracy theories. Take a dash of circumstantial evidence, a supposition that wealthy families always hang together to create corruption, a belief that all government is evil, and a large portion of bias and make a professional video with your obvious conclusions. The only surprise is that fans of Infowars do not apply the same rules to the guys they seem to adore.

Interesting observation and comment. I totally agree, Bike Guy. I also believe that not all politicians are corrupt, nor intent on wrongdoing. Not ALL Liberals or Conservatives are good, nor are they bad. History is how we measure success or failure.
On the other hand, it is difficult not to draw a few general conclusions (OK...opinions) from studying history and watching current events.
