I saw a video years ago where numerous auto workers at a General Motors in Detroit spent their lunch hours smoking marijuana in their vehicles. You may tell us you never went to work stoned and we can believe you. But others definitely have and still do. As another poster said, don’t be so thin skinned. You do not represent anybody but you.

If talking to me, yes I did read it. Apparently you took the other post as pointing somehow to you. With over 330 Million people in America you might consider the post was for somebody else. My father also was a master machinist for over 30 years and never smoked marijuana in his life. Of course he also was not the only worker on the planet.

Have a wonderful day,

Dennis

Re: bipod. Made in Japan. I prefer products made in America, not because of quality concerns, but because I hate to see American jobs migrate to other countries. Davidb1879.

But a lot of things are. The US and China are the world's two largest exporters. The last time I checked we were the largest but that distinction goes back and forth between us as economies fluctuate.

You ever try to find clothes or shoes made in the USA?
Even top brand clothing are all mostly made in foreign countries now.
Top of the line shoes like Nike, Adidas, and others are all made in China.
Go into a store like J.C. Penny or Macy's and try to find something made in the USA.
You are not going to have much luck in that endeavor.

Nikon has a big factory here in Thailand. Both my D7100 and D750 were made here. They both work and look fine. One of my students works at that factory as a translator, and she says that QA standards set by the Nikon headquarters apply everywhere.

My first Toyota truck here came with an engine from Japan. Good truck. My second had an engine manufactured here, in fact the truck was 100% Thai. Noticed no difference. My 3rd and 4th trucks were Fords...made in Thailand. Great trucks.

As someone pointed out, it depends upon the parent company and their quality standards.

OK, now the naysayers can come out and declare me wrong! 😆
Cheers,
Don
